Earlier today a Neo-Nazi gunman burst into a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and opened fire, leaving several people dead and many wounded. :(

No. Why should he get off easy? Let him sit in jail for 40 or 50 more years and think about everything he threw away, and how little he threw it away

I'm certainly not in favor of him getting off easy, but in jail he's likely to become more radicalized in a skinhead gang as an ideological hero.

thats where my parents were married after college and its maybe 3 blocks from my aunts. my uncle used to be president of the congregation there.

Can't reject his actions hard enough, but even sadder to know a friend's family was involved (even if not directly, but you probably still know people there, or your aunt and uncle do.)
I went to college with a guy who was there with his family. I hear they are all ok.
Although it's good to know that your family and friends are all ok, that's still sickeningly too close to home. Damn.
