I knew it had to happen one day but hoped it would still be long time from now. So long Stan 'the Man'. Thank you for making my childhood so much fun to be a kid.   :'(

Stan made it to 95 and had a lot of fun promoting Marvel and comics generally.  We saw him and Julie Schwartz of DC on a panel in one of the earliest years of DragonCon.
