Title: Unusual Christmas gifts
Post by: besilarius on November 26, 2019, 06:26:55 PM
Every year, retail tries to find hot items to spur the buying.
Sadly, they often just recycle old sucesses with a new name.
this year, one of the first offerings, Cthulu on a shelf.

A variant of Hot Potato, Pass the Gas is perfect for breaking the tension as your friend's Moscow defenses crumble.

In DC, the Metro has put out a line of themed gifts.

Now, I think a Metro subway car shaped Yule log would be fantastic.  And after it was well lit, it could release toxic fumes for a complete experience.

Nothing says Christmas like a Darth Vader Yule log.

If I wasn't married to a woman, I would buy this concrete skull gas log for my indoor propane, double-fireplace.

See: https://www.amazon.com/Myard-Fireproof-Fireplace-Campfire-Halloween/dp/B00KBNIZDK/ref=asc_df_B00KBNIZDK/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=&hvpos=&hvnetw=o&hvrand=&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583795260361792&psc=1

It is only $50 and it is well worth it.

The 3D solar crystal actually looks rather nice.  And you can get it with, or without, Pluto.

Mickey Mouse's dog barely gets any respect.

I know that my experiences with a scythe when I was just 17 months old were somewhat disappointing, (he said offhandedly...).

Wow, they missed their target market.  The 3rd picture down shows pluto with a circular orbit.  It should move inside Neptune for part of it.
