Title: Little Richard - RIP
Post by: airboy on May 09, 2020, 11:00:11 AM
Little Richard - the flamboyant high energy pop performer died at 87.  My wife and I thought Michael Jackson was "inspired" by his dress and dance moves (but not in a creepy way).

His songs were super upbeat and sung with high energy.  One of the 50s performers I liked growing up in the 60s and 70s.

Remember this scene with his character complaining about the lack of response from the police compared to his white neighbour in 1986's "Down and Out in Beverly Hills"? I still LOL when I see it.

He was a tad before my time, but I do like some of his music. RIP LR.

He also had a pretty funny cameo in Mystery, Alaska.
