Title: Paradox's Impire
Post by: LongBlade on August 15, 2012, 10:21:44 AM
A trailer has been released.

At first I thought this might be a kind of tower defense game, but it looks more like a twist on a dungeon crawl. A trailer has just been released: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbWQJctgj2I&feature=youtu.be

Interesting looking game.  And I am pretty sure I saw Gus in the trailer scratching himself. :)

Between this and turning 90, he can't catch a break.

I get the impression that it's a remake of their Dungeons game.   Which people had hoped would be a new Dungeon Keeper but wasn't quite the same.  More like Theme Park Tycoon in a dungeon.  ???

If they manage to turn it into a dungeon crawl of sorts, then I'm all ears.  But it still seems to be more of a Dungeons "tower defence" thing, especially since the tower defense theme seems to be the quick way of making a sale these days.

Looks interesting enough but a little too cartoony. When I scratch I like it to look more serious.
