So my wife and I are moving soon and we just loaded up a U-Haul 15 footer and made Trip #1 down I-81. I have never seen so...so...many...18 wheelers on the roads. The interstates were packed with them and the truck stops and rest stops were literally overflowing with trucks. :crazy2:
So the supply chain is recovering?

No. The supply chain is clogged up with 18-wheelers. There is a Fritos shortage in North Houston and a Coffee Mate shortage in Kerrville TX.
An aside, but cab-overs are the sexiest of the big trucks.
-Dad was a trucker pretty much all his life, so I've a fondness for truckers, but no desire to do that as a job.
About 10+ years ago when I was unemployed I came very close to getting my CDL and seriously considered becoming a trucker.

Well I never did do it. There is a certain romance to it at certain points in your life.
My mind just went back to CW Mc Call and that, "Convoy" song. ;D "Breaker, breaker. You got the Jewish Rocket here. Any Bears down the road"?

That's an awesome song and movie!
I had an issue of Dynamite, one of those magazines you could get from the book club thing in school during the 70's, that translated all of that fancy new C.B. radio talk to English. Stuff like "You've got a bear with ears down the road" meant police car with a radar detector.
*Ahem* that's Jewish Missile...
( In my best Henny Youngman), "There's a difference between a Jewish Missile and a Jewish Rocket? I take it he's talking about size and length and not about going-off prematurely". ::)
