In keeping with this song, I'll be doing Campaign: Vietnam. BoC work. Finishing up an AAR in the "Red Tide" DLC of CMO. And working on a joint AAR with ArizonaTank on our PBEM game of Kernstown.
More Assassin's Creed Valhalla, some Total War: Thrones of Britannia and Crusader Kings III.
I'll be playing and also modding "The Cold War" for Civ3: Conquests.
I'm starting to burnout on my Total War rage but I'll try to fit in something just to keep the candle lit. 8)
TW: Warhammer III comes out 2/17 :)

Well that would definitely keep the candle lit. Totally forgot about TW: Warhammer III coming out this month.
More Campaign Series Vietnam MP games which are proving to be really good fun. Boy are the ARVN and Ruff Puffs a liability :)
That's why I'm here W8.
Really? I thought you were the burly, but loveable and misunderstood, bouncer for this place? ??? Busy weekend, so maybe some Medieval 2 TW with the Stainless Steel mod as HRE. Also....FOOTBALL on Sunday! Have a great weekend Grogs.
^Haven't you met me? I'm the soft cuddly one.
The one that stole my wallet then? Could you at least give me back my condums? >:(
Crusader Kings III with Royal Court DLC.

Ruff puffs are the local militia? I hope. Anyway, I've been playing Campaign Series: Middle East on the smaller, nicer maps. This is about the third time I've started on this particular
game and seems to have improved a lot. Other than that
War on the Sea and boardgames.

My wife kept my atm card once. Found out the hard way one day when I was at one of those fast food places I'm not supposed to go to and had no cash or debit card in my wallet.
Shhhh...don't tell the wife.

Yes they are the local "Regional Forces" ... derogatively known as "Ruff Puffs" by US servicemen in theatre. :)
I make no comment on any other insinuation. ;)
Spent all week sleeping on a couch and hanging out in the cold for the greater good - but I dig the job, so it's all good. But this has left me a bit discombobulated with regards to the weekend.
Think I'll retreat back to some old fps shooters and really dig into my Star Wars RPGs for giggles after the book of Booby Feet whatnot.
This is the way, y'all.
What do you do?
Shadow Empire
Ready or Not, Insurgency, Grand Tactician Civil War, and some tabletop dice throwing.

Overall, I work at a civil engineering firm. I do computer stuff (drafting), survey stuff, and other sundry things. But, the job I'm referring to is assisting in bridge inspection work. Just spent the whole week in a bucket slung under a multi-span bridge over an intercoastal waterway, so not only did I get wet and cold from the environment, I also got the up-and-down-and-side-to-side swaying bit all day long too!
Sounds like you get suspended a lot in that job. :2funny: Very important work! Keep those bridges safe. Years back the Wife and I were in Michigan and crossed-over the Mackinaw Bridge to the UP. The trip across it was done while work was being done on the bridge, down to only one lane in the middle, and with big rigs on all sides. Very concerning while there, thinking, 'Damn, I hope they inspected this damned thing recently'. :hide:
Interesting Carl. I work with a ton of engineers, scientists and other types for my state's power authority, in the communications department. You guys are interesting fellers.

Hey Gus, which power company?
Been head down in Stellaris (console version), some medic busy work keeping randoms alive in Battlefield 1, getting some cheap "coffee-break" roguelike thrills in Quest of Dungeons.
For the state authority, WYBaugh. We sell power to the private companies.
He one of them gubmint boahs :cowboy:
Speaking of which I just reinstalled Red Dead Redemption 2.

Really think that most civil engineers are on the spectrum in some form or another - and being engineer adjacent, I'm not saying I ain't got weird shit with me either.
-imho and all of that
