Title: Ubisoft "decommissioning" titles on September 1st
Post by: al_infierno on July 11, 2022, 02:58:31 PM
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/gameplay/article/decommissioning-of-online-services-september-2022/000102396

A number of Ubisoft titles will be "decommissioned" - which means online services are ended and you will not be able to download purchased DLC for the game anymore.  Some people are saying any games that require Ubisoft account access for single-player will be completely unplayable.  However, the games are still available for purchase, so a lot of people are a bit miffed.

I'm sure the outrage is somewhat overblown, but at this point it's not really clear to me how much of what I've read is fact and how much is Twitter outrage.

Hmm...my instant reaction is 'anything I paid for I should be able to access forever.' Especially DLC...
