Just saw mention of this on that other site. Thought there might be a Groghead or two (*cough* Gus *cough*) that might like this...

Oh...My...GAWD.
I'll conveniently ignore the fact that it is nicknamed 'project Odin'. Other than that...this has rocketed to #3 on my Want list.
Oh blimey, I likes the look of that.
Considering I have 196 hours into Dredmor, I'll be curious as to how this will turn out.
Looks to be a mix of Steampunk and Lovecraft in a .. city-builder? Weird. It also implies that it takes a sadistic Roguelike approach, with similar difficulty and random generation. And that could well be a good thing. ;D
I give them credit for taking the risk. And they had me at 'steampunk city-builder'...I am helpless to resist.
Gus wasn't there someone on the other site for gamers who like war called Odin? That online handle sounds familiar and IIRC Odin was a douche. Apologies if I'm wrong. I think there is an Odin on civfanatics and he definitely is a waste of human blood tissue and organs.
On another unrelated note: steve58, my heart skipped a beat after reading your siggie. I'm really worried about what's going to happen on election day.
Back on topic. This game is now on my radar. Looks and sounds promising.
QuoteBut not all is well in the Empire. Strangers gather under lampposts and in bars, telling stories of Those That Live Beyond The Stars, operating in invisible geometries from another dimension.
Gus isn't the only one drooling.
Also, Dungeons of Dredmor is fantastic, so I have high hopes here!
There's a Mac version, too - HUZZAH!
Yeah wait, it's that Odin I was referring to. I am curious if this will release this year. I am thinking not.
I see unofficial talk/chatter of latter half of 2013...hopefully that doesn't get pushed into 2014.
I'm looking forward to it. I found this statement quite intriguing...
"Set forth in mighty Zeppelins to do battle with Sky Pirates"
@W8taminute – me too, but I feel O will have to get used to Chicago winters again... ;)
an update, of sorts

still doesn't seem any closer to completion
Still registering for comment tracking.
And if they don't publish till 2015, that's okay with me, since I'm trying not to buy any new games this year at all. ;D
Thanks for the update...seems like there are so many games out or being developed these days (and that's a good thing!) that this one keeps falling off my radar.
