...not that I'm complaining about it. (Or bragging. Or not bragging much. :coolsmiley: ;D)
So far as I recall, I've always gotten this in very early January, in a window overlapping when my Christmas cash clears and the Matrix Christmas sale nears its end. This year it's yesterday, barely halfway through December.
Wonder why they did this. Or is my memory wrong.
Anyone else got theirs significantly earlier than you were expecting this year? (Spread throughout the year of course, though likely enough many of us bought our first game from them near Christmas or another holiday.)
Mine always arrives between 12/14-12/21 and it hasn't shown up yet.
I get notices twice a year from MG about my anniversary coupon. Only the second notice has an actual useable coupon. I think its because of that Slitherine/Matrixgame forum fubar merger they did/tried to do a few years back.
^ Haven't seen a multiple announcement yet, but neither have I tried to claim my discount off this one yet. Could make sense tho; thanks!
How much do you save?
Last year and this year I had trouble actually using mine. Their site is...not the best.
Coincidentally I also have my 18 year, 50% off, coupon waiting to be used. Having trouble pulling the trigger on anything, because I already have more games than time.
I usually get mine in November. I too am having trouble finding where to spend it.
I never received mine this spring even after calling it to their attention, repeatedly. Apparently they didn't give a damn and it has put me off buying any new games from them.

Easy way to check your previous coupon dates... log into Matrix, go to My Page, select My Anniversary Coupons on the right menu, and it lists all the dates issued for your previous coupons. All of mine have been the exact same month/date except this year, which was one day earlier.
Can you apply the coupon on top of already holiday discounted games ?

Yes, which is unfortunate for me because coupon comes in February when virtually nothing is ever on sale. #:-)

Don't forget Slitherine's Valentine's Day Sale.

I actually did forget about that. Usually just a few titles, so not nearly the depth of the holiday sale, but I have lucked into something I was looking to get from time to time.
Only Matrix title somewhat thinking about is the might and magic...although not sure I would play enough for 40...but who knows
I've been thinking of getting something from the Eastern Front. Already have both of Grigsby's monster games. Was actually thinking of getting Undaunted Stalingrad (not a Matrix game) which is more a deck builder than anything, although it does look like a lot of fun. Then I noticed Valor & Victory has both a Stalingrad DLC and a new Cholm DLC. That has pretty much convinced me to get the bundle. At half off it will only be $17. Hard to imagine I wouldn't get my moneys worth out of that.
There's a lot of East Front content at Matrix, but it also tends to be kind-of old. ;)
It's still hard to beat Tiller's Campaign Series bundle tho, klunky as the interface is by modern standards!
(Crossroads and others here are working on a standalone massive update to the CS East Front portion, thankfully.)
