Title: FRIDAY
Post by: Tripoli on January 05, 2024, 12:43:43 PM
I'm not sure there is any creative way to get "Friday" into a single-word title.  Especially when the song is an instrumental.  In any case: The Allman Brothers, 1982 in Gainesville, Florida (my old stomping grounds)

Me?  BoC work.  CMO work.  Managing the Fight Club Christmas tournament.  Maybe a bit of Destroyer: U-boat hunter and a couple of posts on my Rule the Waves AAR.

Since Solops has dropped the ball, I'm playing Shadow Empire.

Picked up Fallout 3: New Vegas so I'll be playing that over the weekend a bit.

Mostly though I'll be playing Meteorman's "Star Wars: The Mod Awakens" on C3C.

For laughs, I'm going to try and play one or more games a day in World of Tanks for the entire oncoming year.  "So?" you may rightly ask.  My response is that I'm flighty as hell when it comes to games/gaming and rarely stick with anything for more than a few weeks at best** and I'd just like to see if I have the fortitude to really apply time to one game for once for a solid year.  I'll have other games on deck for sure in my usual rotation as man cannot fully game with just one videogame alone but WoT will get some time every time.

** = My usual thing is loading a game and focusing on that game for two-three weeks and then going on to something else.

Why not try... war thunder ships. that needs a population more than any of the free to play games. I have kinda been grinding it with a friend who is really into ships. It's been a blast. No pun intended. Just got my first BB.

All the WT talk recently has made me put that back in my rotation last week-ish, so I am slowly getting back into that particular game as well, amusingly enough.

Probably nothing over the weekend but if I do it will be answering PBEM's.  Significant other is off on a business trip Wednesday thur Saturday afternoon this coming week and it will be a game fest then.  Have Next War: India-Pakistan on the table and then PBEM's and some Farthest Frontier and some Last Hundred Yards on Vassal.

Those are great pics, Destraex!

Not sure if I'm gaming this weekend, but if I do it will be naval in nature: Cold Waters, Steam and Iron, Silent Hunter 4...
