Not sure if this is an ARMA II mod that is finally coming to light of day or something entirely new. Over the Top: WWI looks interestingly grisly.

This is made by the company behind Battle Cry of Freedom and Mount & Blade Warband - Napoleonic Wars.

Looks promising (and has single player content).
