Interesting...very interesting...but, from the same team that put out Fire and Maneuver. Has that title been abandoned?

^^ This is why I find this forum so useful, I thought I know of and or have played every game available, even searching through civil war games recently never found the one above mentioned anywhere. While I'm not a fan of the art style (looks like a mobile port) I will most likely still add this to my collection of un-played games when it has a sale. Although on the otherhand as you pointed out above it may be something to avoid, appear people on steam are complaining about problems with the current games and getting no response - I tend to avoid (if I can) supporting bad developers.
Well, I'm subject to being convinced otherwise if it's good enough, but "roguelike strategy" is not high on my Christmas list. I have an unfortunate prejudice in favor of winning in strategy games.
Beriberi their last update was back in June 2023, which was just few months after release. Looking at the forum, does look abandon. Probably will hold off on this until proven it will actually be supported.

Wait and see for me. When Fire and Maneuver was first announced, I was very excited. I wasn't a fan of the cartoony art style but I like the time period and I was hoping it'd expand to include colonial wars such as the Zulus, Sikh wars, the Madhis, etc. Unfortunately, the game just didn't quite click with me. It felt like it was a bit more of a board-game style puzzle than a tactical wargame to me. It's not terrible by any means but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for.
Master of Command looks like it's steering more towards a tactical sim than F&M, which is a good thing in my book. I'm just not all that invested in that period of history. Steam sale purchase. most likely.
Very excited about this title it's right up my alley. The thing that excites me is how the armies look really. The troops look almost like 1:1 scale. That and being able to "paint" your units uniform facings and flags.
It reminds me of a scaled up version of ultimate general.
I love this period but have a lot to learn a out it. There are very few tv series or movies a out the period. Last of the mohicans and barry lindon are all I can think of. Unless you count revolutionary war material I guess. But I am not sure if they compare.
