My all time favorite shooter type series is coming out with a new version in 2025. Typically nothing earth shattering introduced, but the usual formula works for me.
Sniper Elite: Resistance tells a gripping new standalone story that runs in parallel with Sniper Elite 5 and turns the attention towards the hidden war, far from the front lines, deep within the heart of occupied France. Players will take on the role of Harry Hawker, an agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE).
Intel has revealed powerful and deadly weapons known to the Axis as the Wunderwaffe. An arsenal of this magnitude could surely turn the tide of the war in their favour. You will be required to seek out key Axis targets and work together with the French Resistance to destroy the Wunderwaffe once and for all.

Relatedly, GoG finally got The Saboteur to working correctly on modern (multi-core) systems a year or two ago. Less expensive and probably more amusing than Sniper:Res will be, and at least worthy as a warmup for it.
