Title: Blocked from site by GoDaddy, again.
Post by: Sigwolf on March 29, 2025, 08:20:03 PM
In what has become a common occurrence, I was blocked from accessing Grogheads tonight in the middle of browsing the forum.  I have Spectrum internet, and use Firefox with no VPN to access the site.  I was only able to post this by logging in with Opera with the built-in VPN it uses.

Interesting.  The internet certainly has been acting weird lately.

I use Brave browser and for some damn reason after their most recent update, I no longer have previously visited sites showing up the the address bar drop down.  I have to manually type in addresses over and over again to go to sites like the bank, or grogheads.  It's so annoying.

The same problem has reared it's ugly head again.  Last night I got the same GoDaddy access denied screen.  I posted in the discord about it.  A few minutes later it let me back in like nothing ever happened.

Today, I cannot access GrogHeads at all from Firefox.  Any attempt yields a different error... "429 Too Many Requests You have exceeded the rate limit. Please try again later."

I had to use Opera and the VPN to post this.

It is very difficult for me to pinpoint what is causing this. Particularly when I cannot reproduce it on my end.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
