Admittedly, I was a child of the 1970s and 80s, but I don't ever remember licking 9-volt batteries, or any battery for that matter.

Haha!  I must admit I've licked 9 volt batteries as a child back in the 70's.  I've even done it recently, like within the last 3 years iirc just to get a taste of nostalgia. 

Would I eat pototachip flavored batteries?  Probably not.

Ha. What's next? For us northerners, maybe a lollipop that behaves like frozen metal in winter. Like a door handle or something  :Dreamer:
