Someone seems to have had a new years resolution to play a different game every day this year.
I'm at the opposite end of the scale. I played 8 games this year, 3 of them new. I didn't play any games on Steam in 4 of the 12 months. Almost all of my time was spent on Civ 5, Hex of Steel, and Hearts of Iron 4. The months I wasn't on Steam were spent on Shadow Empire and Emperor of the Fading Suns.
I'm blind, where does it show number of sessions?
14 Games played (2 New)
51% of Play Time: Crusaders Kings 3
14% WARNO
10% XCOM 2
44 games, 25 new and 2 playtests
479 achievements
Longest streak 102 days
14% Tom Clancy's Division 2
9% Stalker 2
9% Dune: Awakening
Worth noting perhaps that at this moment the Steam median for 2025 was:
11 achievements (not that I care about this, but it's a metric that surprised me).
4 games, whether new or old. This surprised me much more.
6 days of play in a row. That doesn't surprise me nearly as much.
Keep in mind, these stats include games barely even loaded up for a few seconds.
Anyway, 41 games (17 new); 153 achievements across 13 games (including 12 rare achievements).
Top three were 18% (Tabletop Simulator); 10% (Creeper World 2); 8% (Arkham Origins). The next two were also 8%, then slowly drifting out from 7%.
Only 1% new; 41% recents; 58% classics.
22% of my total Steam gametime this year was in January.
