Played both demos:
Battlestar Galactica SH is a real letdown for me. Seems more like a mobile game as far as graphics are concerned especially compared to BSGDL. I also don't like the combat aspect at all. I'll stick to Battlestar Galactica Deadlock.
Starship Command OS: Nothing to see here at all. Enough said.
I have a couple of demos to add:
Astro Protocol - Think of a quick 4x space board game. Demo is up on Steam- Mechanics are VERY simple to get, It's almost like Stellaris but turn based and streamlined. Nookrium and DasTactic both did streams on this one.

Space Scum: First Blood -This one I saw DasTactic stream and had to give a shot. The developers of this one did Battle Brothers and this one is set in space, think Mandalorian, Firefly, You know, Scum and Villainy. It is very brutal and unforgiving, but I had a level 1 crew member nearly beat a Boss! Right now it is in Alpha demo. It runs okay on my potato PC. It takes a while to understand how the combat goes, so be prepared to lose a few crew members trying to get the hang of it. It took me a few tries, but I did manage to complete the demo.

What if a monochrome-monitor game from the cassette era had modern depth? Well, then it would be TUNNELS OF DOOM for the TI-99/4a, which was practically Diablo 1 mixed with the SSI Gold Box tactical engine, and took at least 7.5 minutes to load (or save) by tape recorder.
