This is interesting. I got it and it really reminds me of the old Balance of Power game (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balance_of_Power_(video_game). Inexpensive, fully-supported with regular updates and the dev listens to feedback.

I got it recently. It's very much a niche style of game, but I must say I've had a lot of fun with it.
There are some interesting DLC for it addressing other powers like China and France as main protagonists. I'm also tempted to get the US DLC which extends the game and goes into hypothetical events making things less predictable.
