Steam has announced that it will cease offering Steam wallet cards by the fall. The ones available can still be purchased and used, but no more will be issued. Parent company Valve attributed the decision to fraud and other forms of misuse involving the cards. It is uncertain whether wives now knowing how much their husbands are actually spending on games will substantially affect the divorce rate.
