Tomorrow's the 250th anniversary of American independence, so this song seems vaugely appropriate:
Grand Funk Railroad, 1973
Gaming? Possibly Command Ops 2. And BoC work. And Fight Club work. Have a good weekend, y'all!
Have a great celebration of the 250th anniversary !
As a gift we (Belgium) will probably let the US win next Monday in the World Cup  .
For gaming I might try the Stronghold 4 demo.
You mentioned Command Ops and I haven't played that game in a long time so a return might be justified.
Enjoy the weekend !
Holdfast American Revolution on the American Servers to get some of the vibe and to play as the British of course :P
Broken Arrow - the campaign is really something.
COH3 as usual.
Considering downloading war of rights again to play with cav.
Also started watching this in honour (honor) of the day;
Going to the Jones Beach airshow now.
It's not rained out?
You driving all the way up from Philly?

I only learned that the airshow was canceled today when I arrived. In Philly the weather was OK so it didn't occur to me to check the app regularly. Silly me. $60 in highway tolls, 2/3rds of a tank of fuel and a huge traffic jam due to a flooded highway on the way back.

Oh man...that sucks! If you ever want a first hand weather report, send me a message!

Redwolf-That does suck. Looking on the bright side, you got a decent story out of it. Some of my best stories revolve around disasters I've been a part of.
Have regained access to site after been banned for spam posting 🤷♂️
I found JH on another site and he gave me some advice on how to get back in 🎉
I have 3 space games all vying for my attention but I know which one will win as I'm thinking about it while playing the other two - solar nations 2, solar expanse, and aurora 4x
It's weird how a game with no graphics to speak of and no sound can draw you in - I'm guessing the use of your imagination bonds you to the game like others do not, I have decided to extend the RP side of the game by building my own medals table and seeing scientists and pilots and XOs gain awards really makes you watch their careers and track them now and again
Recently started a new game and have just started surveying the known solar system, I'm also following a streamer who has a very different approach to the game in the start and watching that with interest
Can you post the link to the stream you're watching?
Thanks.

Why is he playing on version 2.4.1? That's pretty old, no?

That's what I thought and assumed that's how long it's taken him to film it - his last run through was 2.1
I checked on the forum for the 2.5-2.7 updates and there's nothing of great significance he's missed - mainly the set up options with the different level of aliens - the most important thing been he has the new missile procedures of 2.2 in there
