Title: On War : Stalingrad
Post by: Pete Dero on August 05, 2026, 12:10:59 PM

From the makers of Attack at Dawn: North Africa.

Release date : soon ...

The Eastern Front has always been one of the most fascinating - and most inaccessible - theaters of war.

Too complex. Too overwhelming. Too many systems.

On War: Stalingrad changes that.

This is a game built to make operational warfare readable, understandable, and enjoyable, without sacrificing depth.

You won't be buried under mechanics. You'll understand what matters, and act on it.

Clear systems, explained through intuitive UI and tooltips

    Focus on decision-making, not micromanagement

    Operational depth without unnecessary complexity

For the first time, the Eastern Front becomes something you can truly command.

On War: Stalingrad is the first entry in a broader vision.

Future titles will explore new fronts, new challenges, and expanded systems - building on the same foundation:

    Operational warfare, made clear

    Complexity, made playable

Features :

Designed to make the Eastern Front accessible and engaging

    Operational-level command focused on divisions

Set during Case Blue and the road to Stalingrad

Streamlined systems designed for clarity and usability

Dynamic frontlines shaped by movement and supply

    Logistics, engineering, and resource trade-offs

Multi-level zoom with distinct gameplay roles

Intuitive UI inspired by grand strategy games

First entry in the On War series

Extremely ambitious, but definitely seems like one to watch.  Attack at Dawn is very good, but this is a pretty big jump in scale/complexity.  Especially considering, to the best of my knowledge, the is no maker"s", but rather a lone developer.  I hope he can pull it off.
