Title: Red Orchestra 2
Post by: Bismarck on September 15, 2012, 11:24:54 AM
I picked this up cheap and hope somebody here plays it. I'm stuck on the training mission. I climb the ladder but don't see a ladder on the opposite side to climb down. Please advise.

Are you playing Russian? If so then you must keep jumping off the other side until the many bodies of your dead avatars reach the top. Your fellow soldiers will be able to continue on, using your noble sacrifice to make their way down the other side. Comrade Soldier, you will be remembered as one who made the destruction of the Fascist Hitlerites possible! Your Glory is that of the Motherland!

(J/K ;) I've yet to try RO2)

I bought this to play MP. There's single player campaigns or are they just tutorials?

I had to play this again. Once you're on top of the platform, just walk over the other side with the other ladder, just keep moving forward the ledge (press w) and you will automatically climb down.

I misread avatar as "aviator" and tried to figure out how that worked -- are there helpful aviators in the tutorial?  Are they kind of like
easy mode angels?  Do they just get in the way like jesters in Ultima III?  Can you bribe the guards and kill them?

I will try RO2 some day, I suspect.
