Title: Russian Civil War AAR
Post by: airboy on November 19, 2012, 02:31:04 PM
There is an excellent AAR of the Russian Civil War campaign from Strategic Command WW1: Breakthroughs on the Battlefront forums.  The players are highly experienced and the war has hit a crisis.  Either the Reds or the Whites will be pulling this out soon.

I have been following this every week for a month and it is really facinating.

That looks very interesting I am going to have to find some time to read through the thread.

The head-to-head Russian Civil War is now finished.  Lenin, Stalin & Trotsky are all hanging from a tree!

This was one of the best AARs I have read in a while.

Would that it were so. Might have saved the world several tens of millions of lives.

Thanks, I'll let Ivanov know as he put a lot of work into it from his side, both in winning the game and in the propaganda effort!

It was great fun and I'm hoping for a rematch with him in due course.

I followed the AAR for two months.  I looked at the site weekly to daily to follow this (and the 1914 Call to Arms campaign).  It was really excellent.
