Is Max Payne really 28GB???
Just picked it up on Steam with Sleeping Dogs
Yep. I just deleted it to make room for the new Hitman.
Mine's been downloading since noon and it's only 40% done.

Yep, the download continues for me...and continues...and continues. I'm hoping it's done in time for the downloads of fresh purchases tomorrow. ;D
Done - and unfortunately you need to log in/create some crappy Social Club website. I'm done with these games. I want to load the game and play. I'm so pissed off with all these clients needed - Games for Windows Live, Social Club, Battlefield...no more. From now on any game that requires a third party account can stay with them.
JH - why did you uninstall it? Was it that bad or was it that you had played it?

It just didn't grab me.
I loved the first one - but I have to admit I kind of felt the same way about the second one. Where I completed the first outing a couple of times, I never finished the second.
We'll see.

I've been eyeing that myself. LMK what you think.
Gamersgate has MP3 for $12.49 now.
I've played the first couple of chapters. Good production values but they are cutting the action with cutscenes too frequently for my tastes. I hope that's just for tutorial/exposition purposes and that it'll be less frequent in later stages.
^ I agree. I LOVE games with a story - I easily find them the easiest games to complete - BUT - there's a considerable amount of cutscenes in this - and they're long!
But great production value, quality gaming and I really get the character - in much the same way I did the first one - the confused, mixed up copper.
Great stuff so far (but I hope the cutscenes reduce in length...they can be too long)

I doubt they'll shrink by much. A lot of cutscene video is probably why this game was such a download monstrosity.
