There was an article about that in a recent issue of Total Film.  Apparently he likes to show up at normal people's parties and do the washing up and stuff.  Heh.  Cool bloke, although I bet he's a pain in the arse to work with. :)

Bill Murray. He may be difficult to work with, but Chase seems like a real dick.

Chevy Chase is notorious for being an ass in real life. Bill Murray goes out of his way to be...Bill Murray. No contest. Better question would be: mirth or Bill Murray.

Rumor has it that Chevy Chase's 'Roast' at the Friars Club almost turned into the real thing... The 'testimonials' were jawdroppingly brutal and the video of the occasion has been withdrawn from circulation.

He was on an episode of the Graham Norton show that was just hilarious.
Matt Damon was another guest, and at the end he was laughing so hard that he almost came to tears.  Said it was the best talk show he'd ever been on.
