I've never really had much against Steam - though I know their support is crap I've rarely had to use it (though it WAS crap when I used it)
But - I just downloaded the Dawn of War II demo - to see what it's like...350MB down in less than a minute. Cool...run it...informs you need Steam - fine - I have Steam and it's started - then a Steam message pops up saying I need to download 3+GB of game data
Piss off Steam (sometimes - but hurry up with your sale)
*edit*
I meant to say I still like Steam alot as a delivery/library of games system - but it does irk me at times. I'm sure I had the same issue for a game I bought (disc) and Steam wanted to download the whole 10+GB...BAD STEAM!
Well, i would have been surprised more if the demo actually was a mere 350MB...
