Now THIS is what I have been waiting for!!! Why did they waste time with that worthless Aztec idiocy before giving us the ability to play as Merchant Republics!
+1
A historical DLC instead of the last claptrap they released.
CK2 meets Patrician? Day One for sure.
Definitely grabbing this too. CKII is becoming a huge game.
Very interesting. They keep releasing the DLCs before I've had time to play through previous ones.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Couldn't have said it any better myself.
Cool. Not sure if I'll pick this up yet, but if nothing else I'll be interested in interacting with the AI trading republics.

Also, this.
Oooh. I can't wait to set up my Aztec trading league. Pochtecas 'R Us, specializing in tropical bird feathers and the fresh, still-beating hearts.

;D
I certainly wouldn't want a beating heart that was not fresh.

If it wasn't fresh but still beating... now that really would be remarkable. Maybe somebody will write a famous story about such a thing.
Crusader Kings 2. I haven't played that since it was released! Too many games....
Hrmm.. I've been expecting this one, even before the last two DLC subjects. Although the scope of it is rather limited on the trade management side, it'll be one I've waited for.
But now I see that they finally switched Novgorod over to a not-quite-so Merchant Republic in a patch sometime ago even though it could easily pass for one. Guess that's out in this DLC content's respect, now. :-[

I'm not sure how they intend to do the Hanseatic League and the member cities. Technically, the cities and the land all belonged to feudal lords. But, like much in the middle ages, there were many overlapping jurisdictions of power than complicated the matter.
