Title: Steel Panthers
Post by: Longdan on December 19, 2012, 06:48:23 PM
You guys have been giving me helpful advice and I want to thank you.
Now ..where can I fond the fix to make Steel Panthers General ED run on Win7
without the colours being all wonky and looking like I took the wrong acid?

Both Matrix Games and Shrapnel offer the base game for free.

You should be able to load the scenarios into that once you've installed it.

Matrix's links. I think you'll want one of the links labeled FULL at Worthplaying et al: http://www.matrixgames.com/products/297/downloads/

Shrapnel's link is the second block down on the right: http://www.shrapnelgames.com/Camo_Workshop/WW2/WW2_page.html

goofy colours on a lot of the pages and I thought somebody said something
about a fix for that.

The Shrapnel/Camo version fixes the issue with colors on Win7...in fact they just updated the installer today so that it detects and installs correctly on Win7 with no user intervention and no need to download a half dozen updates after the initial install!
