With so many new games, it will be hard for all of us to narrow down our weekend choices!
So far this evening I've played a bit of War of the Roses and Chivalry (about 2 minutes of Chivalry, just not doing anything for me).
I also just started getting into Real Warfare 1242. What an interesting Total War clone. Is it possible I might be enjoying the tactical battles more than M2TW? I'm not sure....but I really like what I'm seeing so far. So I'll be booting up the campaign at some point and seeing what that's all about.
I'm sure I will round out the weekend with some sim racing, F1 2012 and GTR2.
Working all weekend so I doubt there will be any gaming here... grrrrr. >:(
Already put down a couple of hours of Civ IV BTS MP with a buddy. I don't play RPG's, but I've been jonesing for one and I can't find my copy of NWN Platinum. Got a good lead from Bison earlier and will check that out.
Me too. Night shift Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Wheeee?

Sounds like the inspiration for your avatar.
I've been off of work all week. Been splitting my time between:
Skyrim: Started a new play through as a mage. Think I've got all the bugs that have plagued my previous characters figured out. Got the game running 60 fps on Ultra settings.
Port Royal 3: Don't normally play economic sims but I'm really enjoying PR3. Not that I'm any good at it. So far I've built up a medium sized trading empire. I've been concentrating on profits rather then town prosperity. Think I'm going to start buying businesses in towns when I have the rank and reputation to do so. Not sure ifs its a good idea to store goods in my warehouses or not.
X-Com: Started a new game with the warspace extension mod. Playing my first game on classic difficulty, mainly because the lower ones are locked out with the mod. The mods made an already awesome game even better.
I'm sure I'll get some time in with Fallout 3 and Crusader Kings 2 as well.
Masters of the Broken World Beta
Arkham City
Elder Signs:Omens on my tablet
I bought all the DLC for Elder Signs. Man, Ithaqua is impossible to beat.
FTL
Orcs Must Die! 2
Not sure what else. Maybe some Black Ops II.
if I get some time, it's Civ V to continue the game for the AAR.
played some eador, tew2013 but spent most of my time with anno 2070.

Go to gog.com they have NWN + Expansions for $5.
Batman Arkham Asylum. I even broke out my xbox 360 controller for it.
@Toonces over at Wargamer a guy named Mitra had some mods and/or improvements
for Northern Crusade Real Warfare 1242 for download. I never tried them but I
am pretty sure there are some guys here who liked them. I got too buzy.
Fighting a cold and Frenchmen(NTW) at the same time. So far they're both kicking my butt.

LOL. I keep seeing you pop up on my Steam thingy everytime you start that game again.
@Longdan- thanks for the heads up.
@Metaldog- NWN has trouble working with Win7 for some people (like me) and patching it doesn't seem to work. I tried everything I can find on the net to make it work with no success. Just FYI. For $5 it's worth the gamble IMHO.
Testing the new beta 12 version of PatAWilson's campaign generator for Rise of Flight.
Starting somr Torchlight 2 with the twins and finally some Borderlands 2 single player.
I had pretty well decided to play Warlock and Civ5 this weekend and maybe Star Ruler. But I bought S2: Silent Storm Gold (http://www.gog.com/gamecard/silent_storm_gold) from GOG.com a while back and have decided to spend most of my time playing it this weekend. Strangely enough I purchased Silent Storm years ago and its retail box has never been opened--I haven't the foggiest why I never played it.

Yeah, I think the links are still good for them, last I d/l'd it.
It basically fixes some issues that were (and will never) get fixed in RW: Northern Crusades. Small stuff like sometimes being able to see enemy units through a hill, and some nice little adjustments to the combat (IIRC, giving a bit more of a nerf to archers vs infantry in woods & such - archers are still quite murderous, especially on morale). I believe he also expanded the unit limit in the battles, although I hadn't earned enough experience and coin in the campaign to push the original limits. It's a very challenging game so don't be surprised if you get trampled a few times before catching your feet.
That's if he was talking about
Northern Crusades, anyway. The campaign on all the other 'Real Warfare' games are just a string of battles in a row, leading you by the nose. I never even played those previous titles in the series since they don't have a sandbox campaign. :-\
Games I am definitely playing this weekend:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Wargame: European Escalation
Dawn of War 2
Gears of War 3 (Sexybox 360) (finally got this for Christmas; playing through the campaign with my lady and doing some team deathmatch)
Games I will play if I can ever get them working:
Carrier Command: Gaea Mission
Games I might play if I get around to it:
DCS Black Shark
Conquest of Elysium 3
Eador: Genesis
Depends on the machine i will be playing on:
On my pc (2006):
Haegemonia: Mars Campaign
And, thanks to Jarhead, i reinstalled
Genesis Rising which i never played so far.
on my laptop (2011):
Scourge of War: Chancellorville
and
Starpoint Gemini Timebreach. I just bought the dlc and the first mission is really tough...can't get rid of the 5 enemy ships and there's no spacestation around to do some repairs in between battles...if only i had opted for the nano-robots, i could repair the hull of my ship by myself...bad decisions in the past.
On my netbook (very handy when in the living room with my wife watching television...i sit next to her and do some gaming).
Star Trek: Birth of the federation, large balance mod. Cardassian campaign...huge map, so far no contact with any major races and trying to integrate the many small races around but it requires a lot of money...or more ships
Civil War Generals 2...still in the middle of the war around 1863....now fighting around Antietam...

I've yet to beat Azeroth (sp?) in the vanilla game, but I've been watching some videos of the tabletop version and that's given me some ideas. It'll be a fun game to play next week when I've got some downtime at my show.
I need to get on with MD to continue our MP Warlock game, and at some point Huw, Geek and I wan't to have a bash at one of the DoW games that we all invested in.
I think I'll dabble with all my purchases this weekend, with most emphasis on Spec Ops. That one has grabbed me for some reason and just a few chapters away from completing it......and I rarely ever complete games so this says something to me:) I'll also try and give some time to KOA, Borderlands, and the Lego games. Way too many things with way too little time:)
Played some IL2 1946 last night.. Started a career as a HE-111 pilot.. don't know what I'm doing with level bombing yet, so basically just flew with the rest of the flight the first two tries... Watched some You Tube Videos after on bombing, will have to see if I can put it together today...
Also tried the Conflict of Heroes Demo.. ran a lil slow on the laptop.. but I enjoyed the first part of the tutorial..possibly a potential purchase.
Snowstorm coming, so hopefully some 'quality' gaming time today!
Going to hookup the new TrackIr5 Santa brought and play around with Rise of Flight and my other flight sims. I'll probably go through my recent sale purchases and pick one or 2 to check out as well...
@bob if you see me online, even if I am in game, ping me. I'd like to move forward with that, too.
@Toonces thanks for NWN tip. I know it's here in the house somewhere, it's just a matter of finding it. And I run XP, so, I'm good to go. :-)
Let's see... what won't I will be playing :P
Eador: Genesis
And going through some of the new purchases.... not sure what I will play most in the end but mostly bumping around several games.

Will do mate - I'm hoping to get on a bit later, if not I should be ok for Sunday afternoon / evening. Whatever, I'll give you nudge if your on Steam.
Probably some Mass Effect 3 and Arkham City. I might play a bit more Retro City Rampage, too. If you played a lot of old school NES games, there are a lot of funny references...a lot of geeky references in general, actually.
Then tomorrow, it's Arkham Horror time over at a friend's place.
