I just noticed that there is a login on Steam for PS3 Network users. Can anybody tell me what that is about? Can you play Steam purchased games through your PS3? Do you need a mouse if you can play them or will a controller work? Is a keyboard essential?
AFAIK the only Steam game that works on the PS3 is Portal2, provided you link your accounts in Steam and the PSN. I believe that the idea is to eventually allow you to link those games available on Steam and the PS3 so you can multiplay across platforms along with the typical Steam 'friends' connectivity features such as seeing what everyone is playing and what games they just bought.
The new big picture feature is designed to hook your pc up to your tv and play games designed with a controller in mind.
I think it's only for linking achievements between the two accounts. Haven't done it yet or know of a game that allows it.
