The weekend has arrived! At quitting time, we can schlep back home and put our pixeltruppen on the march and bring glory to our...selves! Earlier this week, I fired up Hearts Of Iron 2 Doomsday. I am Italy. It is the summer of '39 and I am furiously building in order to take a hand in the upcoming conflict.
Bob (and Mrs. B) willing, I should be able to get some Warlock MP in this weekend. There will probably be some Avernum Escape From The Pit going on at some point as well.
More World of Tanks for my MP fix and I plan to give Star Ruler a thorough play through. Last weekend I played through the tutorial and was quite impressed by the improvements made with the latest patches.

I've got a bunch of minis to paint and I am hoping to get some boardgames in as well. However, that may all come to naught as the call of Skyrim has gripped me once again and I am getting immersed back into the game world. I forgot how much fun it was to just run around and look at everything.
Probably get in some CK II and perhaps start a new game of Alpha Centauri
Going to my alma mater to watch some college b-ball.... Probably some CK II, SoTS II, and something else I am sure......

As for single player games, The Authentic Colonization mod (http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=19763) for Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization was recently recommended to me and I will be playing it a bit. I will most likely fire up the original WarCraft for a round or two or three.
I'm not sure what other gaming bug will bite me before this weekend is over.
Some more Kingdoms of Amalur.... finish up the Soviet campaign in Unity of Command, though I really need to get a brilliant victory in the Don Offensives mission to see all the scenarios. I only managed a decisive victory, and am not sure I have it in me to be brilliant ;-)

Last week I said I would finish Far Cry 3 but I got sidetracked by some CiV: Gods and Kings. Great addon I must say.
I only have three missions remaining in the the main story in Far Cry 3 so hopefully I'll finish it this weekend. That and I'll be playing some Battle of the Bulge against Barthheart on my iPad. I'm getting spanked but I'm still kind of learning the nuances of this great game.

Heh. Ya got my arse spanked the first few live games I had. It really is a very deep game for such simple mechanics.

Funny, I was actually playing that yesterday for a bit. I really, really suck at it. I have no idea how to conduct tank and ground warfare.

Looks like I'll be playing/learning Rawbots (http://www.rawbots.net/page/rawbots). I saw the RPS article earlier this week and kept going back to the website, so I finally caved and got the alpaha access. If you want cheaper access ($10 vs $30), theres some links here in this thread (http://grogheads.com/forums/index.php?topic=4492.0). I've only messed with it a bit, still very rough around the edges, but there is something there. I think the reason I'm drawn to it is becasue I use to play Omega (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega_(video_game)).

Going to be putting my new Logitech gear through its paces this weekend. For my birthday last week I bought, with contributions from my family, a G110 Keyboard, a G600 gaming mouse, and a G13 one handed keyboard. Been playing around with device profiles the last few days and I think I've finally got everything set up. So far I like both the devices and the software a lot more then the razer stuff it replaced. The drivers allow you to have profiles that go across all the devices rather then razers way having a profile on a per device basis. The Logitech stuff also feels more solid. I'm not pushing the G110 and G13 around my desk by accident.
Been working my way through the main quest in Skyrim this week. Got the elder scroll (spoiler) and all the crimson nirnroot from blackreach last night. Upon reaching the throat of the world, Alduin proceeded to kick my ass two or three times before I called it a night. For anyone using the deadly dragons mod, never set it to insane difficulty. not sure how I why I set it that difficult, but it was fun. Going to turn it down to hard and see how the fight goes. I want to have the main quest wrapped up before the next DLC is released on the 5th, even though I probably wont get it right away.
I've also been playing my Kingdom of Italy Crusader Kings 2 game again. Lost all my current saves when my SSD crashed a few weeks ago. I also realized I;m the biggest idiot in the history of gaming. My first time playing I kept getting stuck with bad heirs after a certain point, because I thought I had no way have influencing who educates my heirs. Found out this week that you can offer to either educate a child yourself or one of your other vassals. I'm sure it depends on how much the parent likes you but something is better then having the realm fall apart due to idiots.
I also plan to play some AJE with the new patch.

Iron Front game this weekend. (Unless the little shits living upstairs wake me up again. If that's the case, I'll try to get on but I probably won't be at my best what with screaming obscenities in Chinese while poking the roof with a broom and all.
I'm giving Time of Fury a try and am enjoying it so far. I'm still fighting alone as Britain and trying to fend of the Nazis at home and in North Arfica. Maybe some World of Tanks or XCOM as well.

I actually got the Pacific one for free, as one of the extras in that last Indiefort Bundle sale during Christmas - for so many people purchasing the bundle. While I've not tried it yet, I was pleasantly surprised to see it (along with a few other games I didn't know I have) in my library at Gamersgate. I never expected the second or third tier of sales to be hit for it. 8)

I was on the beta test team for Storm Over the Pacific (assuming your talking about that one) and really never got into actually playing it after it was released. I spent months testing it and it was a lot of work:) Something about the game never really clicked with me, nor any of their other games. Maybe I was just burnt out on it from testing.
Looks like I'll be spending the weekend playing TAC. Curse you, Graybriar!
