Both Eric 17 and Craig 13, are deep into CK2 right now... lol.. I"m proud of the fact that they have open enough minds to try other things besides solely playing First Person Shooters (like other kids their age). They both enjoyed the Civilization series as well.
Craig has also been heavily into Vicky2 and EU3 as well. Eric saw how much fun he was having and asked him to show him CK2. All afternoon, that's what I've seen on their screens.
On the other hand.. CK2 is on Steam.. so every time they log in, I get kicked out!! :P .. Now I wish I bought it on Gamers Gate.. Maybe I'll get them their own copies next sale..
Have the registered for membership in the forums? If not, they totally should!

That is awesome to hear. Maybe when you all get your own copies you can have a family MP game and have some good old fashion familial backstabbing. ;D

I'm keeping an eye out for the whole CK2 shebang, in one Complete package sale at Gamersgate too, so I'll leave a post next time GG has a big sale on it. Will be nice not having to use Steam for it, and not getting some spoilers in the form of the extra debug info in the tooltips on my current copy.

According to quarter of three forum, sounds like later today it will be up. Hopefully you have the holiday credit so you can get that huge amount of content for $10

If you bought games during the holiday, amazon gave a $5 credit per game that can be used for editor choice games. To see if you have it, put one of those bundles in your cart and see if it auto deducts the $5
Looks like comple ck bundle getting close....this is insane amount of content for $9 or $4 with ec credit.
Looks like bundle delayed until later tonight or tomorrow.....it's an insane good deal. I bought all my ck2 stuff on gamersgate but currently missing 2 or 3 dlc. It will actually be cheaper for me to buy the entire complete set on amazon for $5 then to buy my missing dlc. Strongly considering buying the whole set to have on steam even if 90% will be duplicate.

Never know when a few extra Steam codes might come in handy. During a Time of No Sales I could trade one set for a bottle of Dogfishead 120 minute IPA. The possibilities are endless...
I picked up the CK2 pack ($5) again, even though I owned most of the CK2 series....was still cheaper then me picking up my missing DLC:) I also picked up the Fable bundle which included Fable: Lost Chapters and Fable 3 ($5). CK2 and DLC (23 pieces) and fable LC/3 for a total of $10, not a bad deal. Since today is the last day of Amazon's Editor Credit from the holiday sales, I guess this officially ends my holiday season buying:)

Seems like there is some speculation the big packs will come again, but not sure when. Although I can't confirm nor deny it. How is the MP working in CK2. I've been curious as to how that would work.
Yeah.. they said it worked well.. you have to make sure that if someone doesn't have one or more of the mods, then you have to turn off what the other player doesn't have.. They had fun playing allied.. I was busy doing WWII with SDR in Iron Front on SIMHQ..
He said the game seems slower, because of pausing and un pausing, and they couldn't play it with the speed too fast.. but they had fun..
