Title: Another Steam key giveaway
Post by: Huw the Poo on February 20, 2013, 04:19:57 PM
I just picked up the Colossus bundle on IndieGala (after much back-and-forth with them because I wasn't getting my keys).  I got it mainly for Demigod, so y'all can pick over (most) of the rest:

Darwinia
Multiwinia
Defcon
Uplink
Hearts of Iron 3

GalCiv I - Ultimate Bundle

First come first served, I guess.  Any takers?  By the way, I can personally vouch for the quality of the first four games, all made by Introversion.  They couldn't make a bad game if they tried!

Thats cool just noticed it's on sale for $2.50, I spend more than that on a cup of coffee so it should be worth it.

Thanks for Uplink Huw.

So.. what other titles did Introversion do after that one (their first)?  I don't recall what else they've done.

I would like the GalCiv1 game if it is still available. I am a big fan of GalCiv 2 and would like to experience the original.   :)

I forgot that PE also had it available so asked him.

You're welcome!  The other Introversion titles are all here: Darwinia, Multiwinia and Defcon.  All fantastic games. :)

What's so cool about the "-winia" games?  Did I get the right impression about them being some kind of platformer or arcadish thing?

No platforming. They're basically RTS's with various units fighting over control nodes. Not bad, actually.

Yeah, with a kind of Tron aesthetic.  Gameplay is reminiscent of Cannon Fodder but deeper.
