Title: Interesting web site, I think
Post by: besilarius on March 01, 2013, 07:07:43 PM
http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/interactive/2012/oct/01/first-world-war-royal-navy-ships-mapped

Cannot get this to load on my system, but this is supposed to be an animated view of all Royal Navy ships during World War I.

It worked on my system. It's cool to see how much RN activity there was along the Atlantic routes. It looks like there was a surprising amount of military traffic to and from Capetown, SA.

Cool site, thanks.  I couldn't get it to run in IE10, but it ran OK in Chrome...
