Sweet smilies! I'm going in to play some Civ IV BTS, you want in?
My man cave, thus gaming PC has been dismantled to prepare for building inspector.. so limited to laptop.. so will probably try some paradox or Matrix game.. Could be up for some Civ IV..
It's Friday for me! 8)
Tomorrow we drive for 4 hours starting at 8 am. Then about noon we start drinking beer and playing games, both Xbox and board, until about 2 am on Sunday. Then drive home again.
Annual Guyz Weekend!

One hour and fifty minutes here...
Working my way through Shogun 2 FOTS for the second time. I'm about 3 turns short of getting my first Gatling Guns. Then the fun really starts.
The most fun I've had gaming in the last few weeks was using my Parrot guns in FOTS. Then a few turns later I was finally crushed. What clan are you playing as?
Right now I am getting beat pretty good in Civ V Gods and Kings. Playing as the Japanese with the 1918 mod. My ace in the whole may be to in with a cultural victory because diplomatically, everyone is making nicey nice with each other.
Skyrim, I have finally been bitten and cant stop playing :P
Dominions 3

I have also been bitten been playing Skyrim for 2 weeks straight
It is going to be: Commander the great war...
I'm in a bit of a funk right now. Nothing seems to scratch the itch. It might be Warlock with bob or Tuna. Could be Civ IV BTS, trying to get further along than the Medieval Era on Monarch. Could be something completely different. Only the weekend will tell.
CMBN/FI PBEMs - although ive hit a bug in BN and got thoroughly spanked in FI after accidentally picking all green troops who run at the nearest bang
Dom III PBEM with some guys here - cant wait, really, really looking forward to that
Found a decent setting and site in Arma II to start a new mission with the editor - SAS mission to clear a town of AAA and call in an air strike on a mosque
Finish off the Shogun II Naval tutorial and then start my first campaign
ARMA III ALPHA
DW: Legends
Syndicate (the new FPS)
MaX Payne 3 and maybe some more
MOW: AS
On tap for or the weekend.....
DW Legends - Continuing to learn and having a really good time
Dwarf Fortress - Have gotten back into playing
Crusader Kings II - Check in on my Republic Campaign
March of Eagles - Finish up my Austria campaign (still at war with the Ottomans)
PE
Some World of Tanks (http://worldoftanks.com/news/2106-medium-mayhem-weekend/) and I'm not sure what else.
Really been enjoying Mark of the Ninja.
Hopefully some Skyrim, CivV and League of Legends.

Man loft is intact. I will go aloft and play maybe play Third Wire, Il-2, CMBN, Moscow '42? Don't really know.
World of Tanks. Cant wait to see the new British Tier X TD in action
Maybe start Dishonored
I'm playing as the Saga using the Darth mod. Got 9 years left in the long campaign and having a harder time than against vanilla. The thing I don't get about the Shogun factions in FOTS is they have the same units and objectives as the Imperials. Shouldn't they get a big Traditionalist boost or public order bonus or something? Maybe it's just me.
I don't think I'll be playing much of anything this weekend. I'm still trying to get over the flu bug that I've had all week.
If I play anything it will probably be Skyrim or Distant Worlds.
For sure:
- Mount & Blade: Warband (Native expansion Mod)
- Silent Hunter IV
- FSX
- Strike Fighters 2
fallen enchantress
War Thunder
and
? ? ?
? ? ?
? ?short stints of who knows what??
Slash in my last game of FOTS as a Shogun faction I did notice that I had more of my 'citizens' into the war effort which had a positive effect on recruitment for the military for 10-12 turns, and similar things. And then I was crushed like a bug by a sweeping tide of Imperials so it didn't matter anyway :(
Next FOTS campaign will be as an Imperial. I need to get at least one campaign win in FOTS.
The Darth mod changes include improved morale in battles and I've noticed the Traditional/Melee units the Shogun side uses more often will survive their suscidal charges against the firepower of the Imperial units and often engage in hand to hand with them. They don't seem more likely to win though but it does give the AI more of a chance. The Imperials lose public order for modernizing and so the Traditionalists should get more support for staying traditional. But the very first objective of the Shogun faction I played was to-- increase my modernization. Why be different if you have to be the same? Still a great game. Either side.
Still learning War in the East (and enjoying it)
The screenshots of War Thunder have prompted me to fire up AirStrike Eagles of World War II and re-start a RAF campaign.
Simcity so long as EA deems me worthy of accessing their servers.

Here is my recent gaming activity!

Maybe I should play something beyond Ghost Recon Online, especially since I keep buying more stuff? ;D
I'm thinking Hitman Absolution, but that will be punted aside in favor of Far Cry 3 if I end up grabbing it this weekend. And I need something strategy-ish, so perhaps I really WILL spend some time with Men of War Assault Squad or I'll look at Fallen Enchantress.
Since 'gaming' PC was packed away, I installed John Tiller's Civil War Battleground series on my laptop.. Boy, even though it it 'tiny' resolution was, it was a heck of a lot prettier than the more current HPS games. The map that is..
Like
MetalDog, I've been in kind of a funk the last day or two.
Think I'm gonna go back to playing
Distant Worlds: Legends for now, as it's the only game I've really been into lately. (I've been trying to get into
Space Empires IV, but I've just not been feeling it this week.) Maybe some good old
Shogun Total War too; that sounds kind of appealing.

DW: Legends
You don't mind my taking credit for inspiring you, do you? ;D
Playing Tales of Maj'Eyal (aka TOME4) today.
Damn is this a fun turn-based RPG. I've always enjoyed it - and it's free! Even officially out of beta now, too.
Not much gaming here- heading to Waikiki for the weekend. But, I bought DCS: Combined Arms last week so if I have a chance to install that on Sunday I'm hoping to spend some time with it.
I'm hoping it's a fun, beer and pretzels armor game.
Civ 5, March of the Eagles, and I've finally gotten around to Torchlight 2. I recently had a computer meltdown so I had to reinstall Panzer Corps. What a pain. I hope they're going to consolidate all of the DLC as some point. Anyway a little of PC too.

Wow. I didn't know that the ground game portion was already out. I'll have to take a look.
Started playing Far Cry 3. Holy crap! Here's a big island to play in...have fun! Kill animals for hides to make new containers and holsters from. Collect plants to make medicines from. Kill bad guys to take outposts and enable more fast travel locations. Take down radio tower scramblers to open new areas. Missions everywhere. Bad guy patrols all over the place. And then, when you think you've seen it all, you're attacked by a goddamn jaguar. :o ;D
It's been kind of an Operational/Strategic European warfare weekend for me, with time split between Rise of Prussia and SC:WWI. I picked up Scourge of War: Chancellorsville but I think I'm going to wait until later in the week to relearn the Scourge of War interface.
I'm finding my preference these days is running heavily toward games where I get to be the CinC and order formations around rather than micro-manage. I wish the Tiller games did a better job of this; I enjoy the subject matter but get tired of pushing all of the chits around.

Glad you're enjoying the game! Far Cry 3 is a masterpiece.
