Gustav that is. As in CM Gustav Line. Got my copy today and will post some impressions soon. Haven't heard much chatter from the Grogs about this one. Is anybody out there playing it? Or am I the only sucker that forks out money whenever and however much Battlefront says?

I was going to get the CMFI/Gustav bundle but, they forgot to release it! Your right, there has been no buzz even the BF forums for this one. I've heard nothing good/bad about it, is everyone waiting on Market Garden?

I think a lot more people have CMBN, that forum is definitely a lot more active.. if you want to take the Gus plunge, you have to buy CMFI.. I think Market Garden will do better, because it is available to a larger audience..

Yes. Only 4 campaigns and none longer than 5 missions. One American, 2 German( Luftwaffe field units and regular Heer units) and a Polish-Monte Cassino campaign. And a lot of the battles are small or tiny sized, only a couple larger than medium. But the new units are great. Heer, Luftwaffe, and paratroopers for the Germans and Commonwealth including New Zealanders for the Allies. The terrain is a little more colorful and the new snow textures look great. Can't tell what effect snow has on movement or sighting yet but with the barren trees and the wind howling it takes me back to CMBB days up to my butt in snow and Russians. Love the Brummbar but with no MG's these Grizzly Bears maybe baby bears without infantry support. Good mix of assault and meeting engagements from both sides. There's also a demo out now.
They want $75 for the CMFI+Gustav bundle, that's more than I was expecting. :-\ You can get the CMBN + CW Expansion for $55.
Sorry Battlefront - bad DRM/License system(worst than starforce) + high prices = no sale. :(

At this link it says $65 which is likely a mistake, but maybe you can force them to give you that price:)

Just started the American campaign and the 1st. mission terrain looks like a work of art. Beautiful country-side with trees and vineyards, houses and villas, all dominated by a mountain-top city. Too pretty to blast with 105mm arty, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
