SWEET
This could be awesome. I really like the BF3's Frostbite 3 engine and if they are using that for this game it will be great!
this is exactly what the world needs a new Star Wars FPS!

It's DICE, so that seems likely.
Battlefield 4 looks good, though. That new version of the engine is insane. Entire massive buildings can come down and block roads with rubble, at least some structures have full internal structures modeled, really pretty cool stuff.
I wonder how far away is the release...guessing 2014?

That trailer JH linked to is the entirety of what they showed, so who knows? Seems pretty unlikely for 2013, though.
Here's a video of a live 64-player multiplayer demo they did for BF4. Gives some idea of what this game engine is capable of. If building collapses like that are something that happens as a result of damage and not just to select structures...damn.

Very imressive video....and I agree, can't see it remotely being available in 2013...based on the small footage, maybe 2014 is even pushing it.

Is there a sub-Nerd Cave? Perhaps a Nerd Foyer?
So we are now reaping the "benefits" of scrapping Lucas Arts?
Let's see what happens next. Hoping for the best.
The nerd foyer is obviously for nerds in waiting, of which you are not.
Tamas' .gif there is hilarious!

I'm optimistic. DICE has a good track record when it comes to MP shooters. LucasArts was an empty shell with a name slapped on the door at the end. That wasn't a scrapping, it was a mercy kill.
Thanks JH - that looks rather cool. 8)
