I bet his sentence gets reduced to time served.
according to italian law he is too old to serve time, so in effect he will only be banned from holding a political office.
Dont think that will be reversed in an appeal
besides their stupidity it seems that everyone else has much more fun and interesting politicians then the US/UK/Canadian variety.
