Can anyone recommend a few good books on airliners? I'm really interested in something like a design and development series that would talk about different engines, details on different models, etc.
I'd prefer a book that covers a wide range of aircraft, prop to modern.

Guess they are too specific compared to what you want, though.
Hey those are perfect! I don't mind to pick up a few volumes if they are good and these seem pretty good.
while Ive always been the flight enthusiast Ive never squared with the airliner crowd. if it doesnt have a gun or missiles theres just no sexy to it.
