Rome II

We're just not that important to him anymore :-[
I think my wife has told my 14 year old he can get Rome II, so I will be checking it out!
Lots of FSX.. loving my new B-17 and L-1011!
PBEM turns of CMBN with Con..
Looks like i am going to play the following games:
- Haegemonia: legions of Iron....about to finish the campaign (mars).
- Armada 2526 Supernova pbem
Rome II.
I'm also working on untangling the 30 Years War, but that's a topic for books.
Continuing my retro gaming with Knights of the Old Republic. Just became a Jedi and have been slaughtering Kath Hounds with my lightsaber.
Starting a new Ironman campaign in EU IV as Poland
Dom 4 beta
In a real slump as far at PC gaming goes....... :-\
Will do some board gaming... should really continue my DAR... :P
More work on the VASSAL mods I'm working on... this will use most of my free time.
The obvious answer... Rome 2. And Sunday, the start of NFL football, finally. That gives me an idea. The next TW title. NFL Total War! ;D ;D ;D

Genius!
^Here take my money for NFL Total War. Take it!
Rome II, once I pick a faction for the real campaign.
I've been playing lots of Xcom. Its the perfect baby/daddy game. Move a guy, clean up puke, move a guy, clean up poop, move a guy, burp... :)
HAHA
Wife is home this weekend, she's been away helping care for her sick mom, so nothing for me until Monday when she heads back....then for me it's back to the Belgium forests and so more Battles from the Bulge. One the best wargaming experiences I have ever had.
Rome 2. Updating my drivers hoping to get rid of the "red skies" Introduced with CA's newest patch.
I've just begun a stretch of working six days straight, so I won't have a whole lot of time for gaming this weekend. What little I do get will unquestionably be spent on Rome II, and perhaps some more Birth of the Federation.

So, basically the same thing! :D
BattleWorlds: Kronos (http://battle-worlds.com/) just started the closed beta for us Kickstarters, so I'll be checking it out this weekend.
Rome 2 all day everyday this weekend in my mind.
^You're going to go blind.
Are you playing a single player campaign yet?
Rome 2 and the new version of ActionPC Hockey that should be released this weekend.....that is about it, besides spending all Sunday watching the NFL.
I'm going to try to get Maneuver tried and played this weekend to clear the board game decks for the 18 or so games I currently have inbound. Madness. :o
On the computer front, oh hai Saints Row 4.
Working night shifts all weekend.
Hoping to get out to the range and do some more blazing away with the new shotgun. It's fun but my shoulder is feeling fully tenderized already.
Sorry, fellas. I was busy, uh, getting busy until late into the night. With the little sleep, and dehydration, I only had enough time to make my lunch, shave, brush my teeth and throw on a uniform and out the door I went. However, the (future) Mrs. is heading out of town tomorrow, so, it will be Civ IV BTS MP, some Warlock and a buttload of football!! Go Bucs!!
EU3. ran through a quick game as the kongo to get a feel for the game, going to pick a busier country this time around.
I'm actually taking the weekend off from work.
I'm going to continue to not play Rome 2. Not really sure what I'm going to be playing. After losing interest in my current Austria game last night, I need a small break from EU IV. Probably start new campaigns in both
CK2 and
Distant Worlds. Other then that almost everything on my steam list is on the table for this weekend. And of course a shit ton of football on Sunday. Go GREEN BAY!

Amen Brother!
Rome II and some FSX with Air Hauler when I get the chance. Busy weekend with the Guard. A local Marine reserve unit is deploying and my unit is tasked with taking care of their legal. Going to be writing a lot of wills over the next two days.
Rome 2 and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Go Blue.

I'm just scrolling through this thread so apologies if you're asked this later on but what modules are you working on?
I just received "
The Supreme Commander" in the mail today. Going to sort through the rules and hopefully get a small solo game of it going.
Also sorting through the rules for "
Force on Force". Made some changes to the reaction tests. I think that I have it tweaked just right.

lol!
More XCOM for me. No baby here but we do have 2 very bad puppies so for me it is ...move guy, clean up broken vase, shoot alien, yell at puppies to stop barking, and so on!

A bunch of stuff from LnL Publishing. Finally updating the Lock'nLoad Series, adding stuff to the Nations at War Series, maybe taking on the World at War series update.
Maybe others for them. Kind of a long term partnership.
Rome II
FSX
and (believe it or not) Farming Simulator 2013! :-\

Maybe not, but, it sure was worth it :)
don't really have the attention span for anything deep at this time. Will be finishing Sang Froid [think i have 4 days left] and playing some Hotline Miami and maybe burn some music while playing audio surf, and a whole lot of NFL on Sunday, Game on the TV and redzone on the laptop.
As Russell Wilson would say "Go Hawks"

Yep. Lots of Rome II. I also read up on 18th century naval warfare for some board gaming. Here's the thing: all games concentrate on
the Napoleonic period because it is well-documented.
BUT it looks to me like the time for more interesting battles was the long period of amazing foul-ups from say 1690 to 1782.
After puzzling over how to simulate foul-ups ( I gave up), it seemed that since ships of say 1744 were in many ways much simpler than ships of say 1794, I could work on 1744-style ships for Close Action and -- while not producing the foul-up per se...I could reproduce the confused fighting (usually around the flag ships) in Close action terms using generic 60s 70s 80s and 90s and 114s (all with relatively easy-to-simulate batteries of homogenous and relatively crappy "long guns").
So that's the current board game project.

dammit! now I'm having to explain to the folks and neighboring desks why I'm over here chuckling!
