Thanks for posting this, I'd forgotten it was happening.
I watched a 60-Minutes report on this a while back. Some pretty serious engineering went into the entire process. From what I saw I figured they had a 50-50 chance of the entire ship just ripping in 2 as they tried to roll it. Glad they came up on the good side of that.
I'll set my PVR for the Discovery special.

Oklahoma was 35,000 tons and needed rotating 180 deg., Costa Concordia was 114,000 tons and needed rotating 90 deg.

I had a vessel salvaged right outside my office once. Close enough I could probably throw my mug onto it. Slow process.
Kinda lost track of this. Looks like the Concordia is back afloat and on its way to a scrap yard. Some amazing pictures...
