Sorry, got carried away. First Friday thread start in a few weeks for me. Just think the theme to 'Rawhide'. Already have one Civ IV BTS MP session set for tomorrow morning. We'll see what else develops.
now I'm tempted to lock this thread just on principle

Is it because
I started it? Or because of my awesome grasp of TV Western theme songs? Or maybe because I have a Civ MP in the a.m.?
Have to do a work DR test.. at first my role was at 1am.. now it looks like 3am... during all the down time, I'm hoping to get some gaming in. Also I hope that I'm not too tired to have a good gaming sessions tomorrow night (since the wife is giong scrapbooking)..
Been trying to fly my ACCUSIM B-17 around the world.. Have gone from Boston to St. John's Newfoundland, then to Iceland. Last night I Landed in London. I Think next stop will be Paris. Loving this plane, I'm not very good at it. but still, I love the immersion!
Not sure what other games I'll try, maybe get back into my Rome II campaign.

No, b/c the first thing I thought of was Rebecca Black
Will be splitting my time between
Command and
Xenonauts.

Oh God, I wish I could unsee this.....
Rome II.
I'm also going to be learning how Star Fleet Battles online Federation Commander works. Looking forward to this.
Back on topic:
All this Rome II chatter has inspired me................to reinstall Medieval II with the Stainless Steel mod, so I'll be taking that for a spin again. Also, late to the party, but I finally picked up Guild Wars II. Plus I'll probably go back to my Polish campaign in EU IV to check out the changes in the 1.2 patch.

Going to be a nice weekend so I need to get outside and prep for winter...
Gaming wise:
More VASSAL work
Playing with the 2.0 version of Pacific Fleet on my iPad. They made a great update. Much more fun to play.

For some reason my brain interpreted this as...

And I was like hell yeah Gus! Meg Ryan? Woo Woo! Hell Yeah! Then I came back to reality. This just meant Gus and a couple of guys getting their drunk on resulting in odd food choices in the middle of the night and not Meg Ryan.

I'm on the first half cup. Unfortunately. I need much, much more.
Rome II
HOI III Italy
tempted by what Command should do, untempted by what it actually does
and then theres this problem:-

if that's an accurate visual, then please consider this an open plea to reclaim your namesake and go back undercover! ;)
Hahaha isn't that all of us at some point?
And have you seen Meg Ryan lately? I'll need a lot more rye.
lmao - i have no moustache, and short hair - NOW - but after 2 weeks of kicking ass on GTA V who knows - what is worrying, it looks exactly like my dad

If I we were talking to Star, we'd have to specify which Tuesday :P
I'd say that visual most likely reflects the honest desires of many here.

Rome II
Rome II -- yes.
ARMAIII (yes make a III and a IV and so on) -- people I know claim to be playing the Wasteland thing -- you can get plenty of trucks and weapons but food and water can be problematic and all the more so since there's nobody to shoot at or run over so you just get thirsty and think, "my plan was to be dead by now."
AND more Flying Colors (Meng's Ultramod -- extra sail states! More Crew Checks! Different Gunnery! Baffling Scenarios!)
AND Take on Mars (such a strange game, but kind of hypnotic if nothing else)
Oh the gaming, right I almost forgot. I will be continuing my retro-gmaing romp across the galaxy in KOTOR. Having decimated the Sand People population on Tatooine, I have moved on to Manaan to relieve the Selkath of their supply of life giving Kolto. Carth is still a whiny bitch and Bastila is a cold bitch. HK-47's disdain of Meatbags makes me laugh.
Now a bit of GTA5 and then on the weekend Axis Empires: Totaler Krieg with Hiimori, we still have a scenario on the table to finish.
Spending the weekend in a cabin in the woods with friends drinking.... wasn't that the plot to Evil Dead? Better watch-out for strange looking books Gus. The wife left me un-supervised until tomorrow so it's wings and a good movie for me after alternating Rome 2 and CMFI. And to work-off all those wings, I'll do some walking in Skyrim. ;D

Helmsmen, put us back on course..... :P
Endless Space Disharmony - so far I have enjoyed it, new campaign
ARMA III - MP anyone?
Xenonauts - Starting to get interesting!
Sir, You are being Hunted - Played a little bit, interesting
Take on Mars - Have not fired this one up
Dominions 4 looks soooo much inporoved over 3 that I may take the plunge.....
PE
Three major games will be vying for my attention, two of them console games and the other a PC game.
I don't have a moustache. Otherwise.... ;)

ArmaIII MP -- i'm out there as Meng for an hour or two.
My take on Take on Mars -- Interesting but only about 40% of an Alpha so far
I am most definitely going to give Command another outing tonight. I want to try the mission editor.
As for the rest of the weekend, probably a flight or two in FSX and Air Hauler - get my REP up and more painting of my Challenger II - it's almost ready for some weathering (which I am always apprehensive to do!) and finally - I think a board game. I ran out of time last weekend...so I might give Band of Heroes and outing - but the rules - relearning the rules always makes me feel "not yet"!
WofTanks as usual and rome 2 maybe.
After a stressful week (work, visits), i will be going slowly back on my gaming Schedule:
Will continue my campaign of Master of Orion with the Klackons.
Will also resume my campaign of Populus Romanus on my tablet.

My brain can only accept the 1980's Meg Ryan and possibly the 1990's Meg Ryan.
So many games I'm not sure anymore. But it looks like Patch 1.01 release candidate (http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?32443-CW2-Public-Beta-Patch-1-01-%28release-candidate-1%29&p=290829#post290829) is out for Civil War II so I may try that.
Civil war 2
Command
I'm a bit burned out on Rome 2. Will wait for the final version of beta 3 patch and start over. I get bored of TW games easily
I won't have time to relax this weekend (traveling for work) but when I get home on Monday evening I'll probably play Power Grid or Eclipse or Tide of Plastic or something with the family. During the week I am going to try out the new beta of Planetary Annihilation and maybe even drive around some tanks with my son in WoT, both PC and Xbox (beta).
Nice to see people are playing WoT and MOO! 8)
FSX. (that Constellation looks tasty!)
Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm.
I honestly don't know what else.
Rising Storm, since a free weekend usually = noobs to pwn.
More Ace Patrol, which is a fun little game.
And I'll continue battling through the cold I got from the kid of one of my friends last weekend. Invite people over to play boardgames, and contract a disease from Typhoid Mary Junior. Lovely. ::)
Well I'm at the Renaissance Festival tomorrow, and from there I'm going down to SE Minnesota to visit my grandmother (along with most of my mom's family). So unless I come back home Sunday night still (which at this point is only a "maybe"), there'll be no gaming for me this weekend. That's probably just as well, though, as I'm feeling a little burnt-out (gaming-wise) at the moment.
