Kindle has yet another upgrade with a 1920x1080 screen. Nice screen if you need it. I mean want it.

The 8.9" has a (2560x1600) screen for $379.
My wife is getting me a Kindle Fire for Christmas. She told me to research them and pick one out. What do you guys use them for besides reading books? Can you browse the internet or play any wargames? The closest I've ever come to using any kind of tablet is using a laptop, which isn't exactly the same thing.
Yeah I use mine to surf the web, read books and pdfs, play games. There are some wargames for it. If you browse through Amazon, you can see what is available game/app wise.
