WARFIGHTER!
Will be up on Kickstarter on Monday for funding. Please take a
look. This game is looking awesome! It features modern tactical
combat with a fast-paced easy to play system.
TIGER LEADER!
Is up for pre-order! Command a German Kampfgruppe in WWII's
most decisive campaigns!
THE CARDS OF CTHULHU
Is at the printer! If you would like to receive the pre-order
price, please pre-order soon!
HUEY LEADER
Continues to pick-up pre-orders! Thank you!
So anyone supported Warfighter in Kickstarter? I'm ready to pull the trigger.
Yeah I'm thinking about jumping in.... just my game budget is taking a beating this month.... Flashpoint Germany:RS ($50) and then all in for a new super deluxe version of Band of Heroes board game... with my name on a leader counter ($250)! :P :)
Warfighter! does look pretty good and heck, I'd want the 3 expansions as well. I think that for $85 me and my son (my son probably more so) would enjoy this one. He loves modern warfare and he enjoys playing Up Front so I'll probably spring for it.
Quotehe enjoys playing Up Front
Gary...not these two words please...you know it just hurts ;)
I know, I know...and it's interesting that Warfighter! is being "auctioned" on Kickstarter. I still have a glimmer of hope that I will some day receive my copy of Up Front (2.0) but I'm not holding my breath. I'm glad that I have my original copy at least (plus expansions). All the personality cards are heat laminated in a thick lamination and the cards are in sleeves. We play it but we sure do "baby" it!
Quotereceive my copy of Up Front
There...you did it again, you are cruel, really... :P
"Build it and they will come". Or in this case, "they have come, now build it!!!" :)

Do you recall the brand/size of sleeves that you used for the UF action card deck? I did some shopping around but never found any that worked.
Sorry to carry on OT. WRT Up Front 2.0, if recent updates on BGG are any indication that project is still moving ahead nicely
Here is an update of the new cards posted earlier this week

I realize that the issues are on the business side of the project

The Action Deck is standard playing card size - I don't have those dimensions offhand or recall what brand of sleeve that I used but they fit perfectly. I can take a picture of some of the cards later and post it. As mentioned, I used a thick laminate (heat packet) for all of the Personality Cards after I first used a 1/2" fiskar to round the corners (see: http://www.createforless.com/Fiskars-Corner-Squeeze-Punch-1/2-in/pid134322.aspx). It was a good deal of work but those cards will be protected for ever as long as they don't get bent with sloppy play. I'll post some pics in a new Up Front thread (just for
Andreas) later.
Warfighter is funded... in only 3 days of the campaign! 8)
Must resist.... $85 (+ $20 to ship to Canada >:() for the entire set.... must resist....
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this one. My son gave the "thumbs up" so I'm sure that I'll sign up with my next slush fund pay check that I pick up.
QuoteI'll post some pics in a new Up Front thread (just for Andreas) later.
Hm...where is it...it must be here on this site...the button...delete...unfriend...blacklist...ignore...hm...where's that important button...
Is it that you need a copy of UP Front or that you (possibly) lost money from the Kickstarter campaign? I have a spare copy of Up Front that I could possibly be convinced to sell if you ask me nicely. :)
Oh, and to stay on topic about CDG's; check the CSW for Blue vs Gray. I posted a question for you there.
No, no...just kidding :)
I still bear in mind the Up Front 2ooo project...and after reading about the business problems regarding the new project...I still don't see a new shiny version of this great game on the table.
We of course have Up Front on our shelf, I wouldn't dare to call me grog if not 8)
Thanks for the offer though!
WARFIGHTER
Funded in only 3 DAYS! Thank you to everyone who helped us make this project a reality. We have also unlocked the Campaign Game stretch goal and are closing in on the Bullet Dice Stretch goal.
We have requested pricing on a player mat, extra deck of cards, and soldier miniatures now. If we can come close to making the numbers work, we'll also add those Stretch goals.
We've added one game play video and will be adding more videos in the next day or two.

For all of you who are on the fence about getting Warfighter...
Maybe stop by the Kickstarter page and give it a look? What can it hurt? After all, this is just "internet" money, not *real* money. :)
