Nothing much I don't think.
I have my bessie mate coming over from Wales to watch the rugby so we'll likely just get drunk and enjoy the rugby.
I might, just might be able to start my AAR for LnL:Blood and Bridges - at least layout the setup and the rules of the scenario.
Not likely to get any other gaming in...so that is all from me I'm afraid.

^ I've so far not seen anything in Pacific Aces that suggests it's an move up from Ace Patrol. In fact imo it's a step down. I'm still having fun with it and for £3.50 or whatever it was, there's still alot of fun in it - but by comparison, I think it's lighter than the original.
Back to Rome II for me, as well as more Empire, and perhaps spending some time with the beta for Pandora:First Contact.

ive got too much gaming backlog to add a 'its ok' game to it - if it was spectacular maybe, but right now ive got 'great' games up to my eyes
van helsing and flashpoint campaigns
I have to work Saturday, but, when I get home, it will be Warlock: Master of the Arcane. I picked up a game I had put down a couple of months ago. Max settings on everything, eliminate your rivals. Right now, I am just spinning my wheels. Just starting to clear my first underworld. The Grand Librarian is sending settlers into the underworld, but no troops. Useless bugger.
I'll probably continue to torture myself with the COD campaign. Maybe some more Batman Origins and even some Dishonored, which I've recently started playing again after a long hiatus.

Trying to fight my way out of a Greco-roman war I didnt want. I am very close to losing my first TW game ever (even with cheating and do-over turns)
Dangerous waters Red storm rising campaign
fallen Enchantress
I've gotten sucked back into CiV after that last patch so any free time will probably go there.

More testing of HoS.

Heroes of Stalingrad. I am very much looking forward to that....but I do hope it's not preceded by "all about the physical product" and "aimed at the boardgamers"
How goes the testing?
Rome 2-- Trying to help the Seleucids keep their empire together. It's what Alexander would want me to do. The Radious mod has me in love with the game all over again.
I expect I will be playing mostly XCOM: Enemy Unknown this weekend.
I expect to be working and day dreaming about being some place else.
I'm going to try to get some more time in with Space Empires IV. Then try to finish up 100%ing Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (XBOX360).
A buddy lent me his Castlevania: Lord of Shadows and Dishonoured discs for PS3 which I want to try to fit in as well.
Not much at all....leaving for a road-trip to Atlantic City for my nephews wedding. Maybe it's a good thing, get a break from the everyday wargaming (I'm retired) and come back next week recharged and ready to report for duty.

Testing is going well. The solo experience is really very good. More board game "feel" that Conflict of Heroes IMHO, but then I like the mechanics of the Lock'nLoad series better than the CoH series...
Pretty sure this will be a digital only release. ;)

Thankfully, she is still very junior. So all she really does is eat, sleep and $hit. It'll be a problem for gaming once she gets older and starts acting like a real human being.
I've got to get back to Deadlock. I still have an AAR and a review to do on it.
Probably putter around a bit more in Skyrim but my eye is wandering. Interested in starting a game of 1648 Total War or the Thirty Years War mod I just found for Civ V. Either those or the Franco Prussian War mod, also for Civ V.
Either way...Civ V beckons.

Ah, the kid thing. My girl is 3 and does fine with games. True, she ate a few Gauls in Sword of Rome, but that was a game I got just for her. She hated Successors but likes Sword of Rome. It does taste better at least. The Gauls do anyway.
Other than that she respects all objects in the Manloft and only makes inquires about ships and wind (she has been on boats at sea and liked that a lot). She used to like flying airplanes in RoF and CLOD, but now finds them disturbing. She has a real Blenheim phobia (she doesn't like the cockpit it seems).
Gaming-wise, it's a long week end here in the States for a lot of people and on Monday, the kid goes to school and the wife and I will be kid-free! So lots of gaming seems possible. But what will it be? Maybe:
1) ARMAIII -- fights in Frini
2) Flying Colors -- boardgame featuring Martinique, April 17, 1780 with "Madman" Rodney going after the Comte de Sade and company.
3) RomeII?
4) Mods to IL-2 1946?
5) Some other stuff?

forgot these:-
hoping to get into War Thunder - im hunting for Huw
and maybe tempted into Fallen Enchantress - once HOI III finishes ill be looking for a genre change
Skyrim - Restarted my ranger earlier in the week after I was getting Thallmor attacks on me every 5 minutes. A little understandable, I did ambush one of their prisoner patrols when I was around level 3-4. Ran into a squad of them last night in my current game and they turned and attacked me, not really sure why. Guess I'm just going to have to deal with them. Playing with the Realistic Needs and Disease's and Frostfall mods. I turned the Frostfall exposure rate percentage up to 1.5x normal (normal 1.0x). Combined with not spending much time in towns, its turned Skyrim into a good survival game. If I can find the time, I need to do a little work on my Skyrim mod as well.
FC:RS - After numerous restarts, I finished my first full scenario last night. Was some of the most fun I've had with a strategy game in a long time. Going to make another attempt at both Test of Wills and Time to Dance scenarios. Thank you goes to Longblade for helping answer a
few questions I had about game mechanics. And yes Longblade, I'm going to rtfm this weekend. ::)
Command - Lots of modding to do. Finish up my RSR Keflavik Raid. Was starting to doubt whether to release it or not. After play testing myself I didn't think it was all that much fun. Had someone test it last night who said they thought it was fine. Going to update it for the current DB's and write the briefing and it should be good to go. Also going to finish forming the last four current carrier strike groups that I've been building as a modder's resource. After that I will start work on year/deployment specific versions of the CVSG's. Once I release my RSR Keflavik scenario I need to start work on my second one. I'm thinking the next one will involves a lot of backfires, missiles, and maybe a US CV or two....
I would like to start the ArmA 3 campaign, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to run out of time

Lately I've been playing
ARMA II for some reason, and will probably continue this weekend. Good stuff, and doesn't feel outdated at all with with ARMA III out there --
Combat Mission Beyond Overlord ... loving this game again. When the series first came out, I didn't really give them the attention they deserved, so I'm diving in learning how to properly play the game. Before that I'd just either get lucky and win, or get my troops massacred. Now I'm giving them a chance to win AND live. ;-)
Not going to be able to play the other 2 old ones without the latest paid patch because of some graphical problems due to my ATI card. At some point i'll cave and buy all 3 patches, since I'll have to get off XP at some point.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion with the 1.80 patch and the new Stellar Phenomenon DLC possibly some more Smugglers V as that has just had a patch as well and / or Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes and possibly some Civ V if I can track down the mods Gusington mentioned.

It's so true. ARMAII is a fantastic game. Really not outdated in any way. I had some trouble sticking to ARMAIII, but I finally found a part of Altis that seems enough like an ARMAII landscape. PLUS there's starting to be enough variety in ARMAIII -- but I was very tempted to go back to ARMAII until this latest flurry of stuff arrrived in the game.
Wow, there are games out there other than Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes?? Who knew? :P

Still on a general digital gaming hiatus but I may put in some short stretches of War Thunder and Sid's Ace Patrol Pacific Skies if I feel the need.
My large stack of recent tabletop game purchases is still demanding my attention and I just finished putting the primer coat on a buttload of 1/285 aircraft minis from the Korea-Vietnam-Arab&Israeli Wars eras. I'll be breaking my painting cherry for something this small in size, and it's been decades since I painted anything of this nature so wish me luck. ???

Just picked up AirLand Battle cheap from Steam, so I'll be trying to get myself over the "I don't know WTF is going on here" hump with that. Some Planetside 2 (still surprised at how little it gets name-checked here). Probably get my arse handed to me in RoF MP, then a spot of IL2 '46 with my squad mates.
Only have the slow laptop, but good enough to crank out this old gem, until the Kickstarter venture works out.

After knocking off another item or two off the honey-do list (probably more painting), I'll be trying to delve a bit more into Command, also Pacific Skies and hopefully my latest Kickstarter that I just got access to, RimWorld.
I'm working the night shift all weekend long. Will pass some of my time reading up on the ASL rules for boats, for an upcoming game (VotG #2 "Russe! Drown in the Wolga").
I'm also likely to tune into some more of Baloogans' vids for Command.
Stop that Endfire! You're making me want to fire-up that old gem again.
Flashpoint Campaigns and Civ 5 BNW as England using the Play Europe mod with true start locations. I last played this mod as Rome in G&K, where I was worn down by being attacked from all sides. This play through I've retreated to the security of the island nation of England. I love the true starts of this mod.
Well, my buddy who's willing to play war games wants to play something tomorrow. He likes Twilight Struggle but wants something different, so Hannibal : Rome vs. Carthage is about to make a long awaited debut. ;D
Aside from that, I'll keep up with Pinball Arcade (Medieval Madness, beeyatches!) and start up something new. Probably either Tomb Raider if I go action, or Fallen Enchantress : Legendary Heroes if I go strategy.
I've been meaning to say this for a while: I love that avatar Rizik6!
It doesn't look like I'm going to get into any gaming tonight, but I have high hopes for FSX later this weekend.
Also, Kushan has inspired me to mod up and once again fire up Skyrim.
Well, having finally acquired my shiny new Samsung Galaxy S4 HTC One (http://grogheads.com/forums/index.php?topic=7678.0) and being solely responsible for the kids this weekend, I doubt I'll get any PC gaming done, but I am exploring what's on offer on Android. I've already grabbed Plants vs Zombies 2 of course, and some strategy game recommended in the mobile forum right here (whose name escapes me). There's also a Google-developed acquired augmented reality game called Ingress which looks interesting.
OK. I pretty much love Path of Exile. It really makes me sad that Diablo 3, while fun, never lived up to it's potential possibilities.
Made myself set down and play AJE again.... just cannot get into it. Not sure if it is the lack of feedback to the player or what.... but I'm moving on to Flashpoint Campaigns. I hate it because the Roman era is one of my favorite and I really wanted to like the game.

I'm really enjoying Diablo 3 on the sexybox, but that's mainly because I can play it with my lady. I do agree with regard to Path of Exile however; it's a bloody good game, dripping with atmosphere and has superior voice acting for a computer game, too.

The character customization is top notch. It may in the end be better than even Titan Quest, which also has an awesome skill tree layout.

Is the skill tree still +X to stats? I played it in the very early beta and found it really boring compared to the Diablo 3 skill tree.
I've been thinking about getting back into Diablo 3. Going to hold off until the expansion and the new loot system is introduced to the PC version. From what one read the new loot system on the consoles is far superior to the original. If I played my 360 more I would consider picking it up for that just to hold me until spring.

For the most part yes, but there are other modifiers in the tree itself. One of the really unique features of the game is how the gems play into powers/abilities that are available and further modified.

Yeah, I am an AGEOD fanboy but I will say that they are not for everyone. ACW 2 has an interesting combat system that allows you to choose a battlefield formation and plan. I would love that retro fitted into the Rome games. I DO WISH a message would pop up telling you why you can't so something. For example, a surrounding area is red meaning I can't move there...why? Well, could be several reasons..why not have a message from the aid-de-camp saying "general, we cannot move into that region because the enemy fortress in our current location is too powerful and prohibits movement around it...I recommend we retreat or neutralize the fortification"

Welcome to the darkside Kushan! I believe you can play the game running just off of the disc but I'm not sure. I installed the game straight away onto my HD to save wear and tear on the dvd player which is my standard practice. You could buy a thumb drive and install the game there and it should run for you however if the game won't let you play off the disc.

In a similar vein, I've been playing the demo to Avadon: The Black Fortress. I saw the 2nd game Avadon: The Corruption was out and noted a demo for the first game so what the hell, give it a try. It's FREE. Nice little game. Simple to play, interesting storyline, lots to explore with good loot and combat that scaled up pretty good as you make progress. Decent graphics. Kind of a generic Baldurs Gate. If I had more time, it would be sure buy. A nice break from the more complex games.
