Anyone really jones-ing for a Lock n' Load product? I have some credit at the LnL store that I would happily use to make some grog's Christmas morning a little more combatative.
First one to PM me gets on the "nice" list. Shipping costs may make this offer financially viable within N. America.
Yours in gaming,

That's such a nice offer.
I'd take you up on it, but I have so many new tabletops right now.
Never played LnL, though. Will have to do that sometime in the future.
That really is very nice of you. I'm sure there are a few grogs here who have to pass on getting a game for themselves this Xmas due to shrinking family budgets. I hope one of them is lucky enough to benefit from your generosity.
Perhaps somebody that is purely a PC gamer now (or always has been). Could open up the eyes for them as to what other types of wargaming there is out there.
No takers? Hmm...well, I'll leave this up for one more day...
If there are no takers, I'm all for taking Space Infantry for a whirl :)
But I get plenty of games to work with through GH, so if anyone else raises their hands, send it their way!
I'd like to check out one of the LnL games. I'm at a loss as to which one, though, as I'm not familiar with their stuff.
I'd take a more Modern Cold War or World War 3 setting. Or Arab-Israeli conflict type thing if not those. Would that be the "World At War" series? I have no idea which titles are the more popular ones in that category, but if there are no tabletop gaming noobs taking the offer I'd like to check out one of their products. I'd take whichever one of those you'd recommend.
Arm wrestle Brant for it? :P
Let Nefaro have 'em. I'm good :)
Done...PM sent to you Nefaro...depending on scale, either World at War: Eisenbach or Heroes of the Gap. I am thinking World at War: Eisenbach..

I dunno.. I've been most curious about their smaller scale stuff so Heroes of the Gap would probably be my first choice.
I don't currently have any tabletop games covering that scale, and that seems to be something LnL is popular for. Would love to check it out. ;D If it all clicks, I may invest in further stuff on down the road from them, including something larger in scale.
Thanks again Jack! Just rec'd it! ;D
Very generous, Jack!

What'd ya get?
Eisenbach Gap Deluxe from LnL.
It has some pretty high quality stuff in the box and doesn't look so complex that it would take too long to learn. Platoon level wargame. :D

It's a great game and series. Very easy to pick up. Plays quick and plays very well solo.
Enjoy, and feel free to ask questions.
I'm also looking forward to checking out their Squad Level stuff in the future, when I get some more disposable scratch.
This is my first LnL game and while it looks rather thin on content quantity in relation to the cost, it does have a simplistic elegance that's easy to get into & play. I suppose the squad level series is a bit heavier on the rules?
Yes the squad level game has more rules. And some find the style of the rule book hard to get through. To me it's written like it was someone teaching you the game over a few beers. YMMV.
But once you learn the rules you can play any of the series that ranges from early WWII to 'Nam to the Falklands to WWIII to Somlia to lots of user made content. There is so much content....
Also once you have the rules down the game flows very well and I know almost never refer back to the rule book.
There's a tourney coming up in Feb. in Seattle... It's gonna be a blast!

This is always something I appreciate. Even if the rules are pretty thick, if you can run the game with minimal reference back to the rulebook, after only a little experience, then that's a huge plus.
I've read the rules to Band of Heroes like 5 times and still have issues with them. I'm going to force Brant to teach me the game next time I'm down his way.
@Nefaro,
Glad to hear it arrived, and hope you enjoy it.
For my part, issue 14 of Line of Departure arrived at my door. Nice to see my name in print.
