Well Snowbird consists mostly of the same people as in Snowberry. Still it's the first game in this genre we're producing and at the same time most ambitious :)
^Good luck Imperium...we will be keeping on eye out for release.
A few new screenshots :)

Hey guys.
I wanted to let you know that we submitted Eador to Steam Greenlight. If you're interested in the project appearing on Steam you could help it get there. Here's the link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93959913&searchtext=
Thanks :)
Done. I for one am intrigued!

Great news.
Is there a chance we can get some preview code to write about on the front page?

Is there an actual release date (outside of Steam) though?
And will there be a demo? Love the artistic style and the concept, but the execution on such an audacious combination of features can be challenging!!
Thanks for your help guys.
The actual release date is still not defined but it's going to come out before the year's end most probably.
Yeah, there will be a demo and beta test.
And as promised we released a short video that explains the gameplay basics. Hope you'll like it. It's up on our Greenlight page: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93959913

tacticular cancer
Pun it may be, but that's such a horrid name for a website that I don't want to even go there!
Agreed, Huw, with good reason.
I agree with you but the fault is not of the game; me too I had relatives died for cancer, but for copyright reason I cannot copy and paste the text alone here

OK, thanks!
Hard to blame the name of the reviewing website on a developer team building a game that's being previewed.
The features and complex relationships between the different features make this seem really appealing to me. A bit like the old HoMM games, but with a campaign where you have more control over the individual battles and those battles have more implications for the next battles.
The only two pitfalls that I see are: 1) The developers are trying to put A LOT of features and content into the game that all interact with each other. Play-balancing that can be really hard, and lend itself to certain strategies standing head-and-shoulders above the other. 2) Systems like that where lots of different pieces interact with each other tend to be very hard to model from an AI decision-making standpoint. The HoMM gameplay is second to none, but as the games got more open-ended and the special abilities got more open-ended, the AI decisionmaking proved woefully unable to navigate those balances. Complex interactions between certain unit abilities and certain spells eluded the AI at all times (e.g., Griffins have "Unlimited Counter-attack", so fielding a huge stack of Griffins and putting a "First Strike" spell on them made them almost unstoppable--and the AI could never dream of coming up with such a tactic).
If the game system is great, but the AI isn't a credible opponent, players win a straight-up fight every time using the same exploits, and the game gets old in a hurry.
If they can overcome these two obstacles, I'd buy this game in heartbeat.

Oh jeez, all I said was I hate the name of the website. No comment on the game at all!
Shoot, Huw, I'll just bring the issue up 3 or 4 more times before I let it rest!!
;D

Well I think we will have the possibility to test and help to improve during the public beta. Anyway I know the engine used and it permits also the mod the AI, so the possibility to improves the AI reactions are infinites
Hey guys. We made a new video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ai48GnjIeKo) about strategic level in Eador.
We also opened official forum (http://www.snowbirdgames.com/forum/index.php) for our games. Be sure to come by :)
