Looks like all my free gaming time this weekend will be devoted to Europa Universalis IV. Really looking forward to it. If anything else creeps in, it will be something MP like Civ IV.

Well, now I have found a new way (the only way?) to play CM:BfN I will be playing that, along with some LnL:HoS most definitely and finally a cheeky wee play at either rFactor2 or NASCAR 14
Oh - and because I've got Thief I'll take that for a spin, probably tonight whilst I get re-acquainted with Stella.
I just reinstalled Tropico 3 since I expect to be in the beta for 5 and wanted to re-familiarize myself with the game. That, and hopefully my physical copy of Lock nLoad will arrive today or tomorrow.
I'll be continuing my SP game in Dominions 4. Then a little Lego The Movie video game and maybe some Farming Simulator 2013.
Awesome thread title and track. After I dry my eyes over the loss of Rage Against the Machine, I will try to survive the work week and then try to make a push into the Balkans and Greece as the Iceni in Rome II. Maybe capture Rome too as the Romans have been surprisingly smacked around by Athens and Sparta.
Going to fire up some FSX and then maybe Crusader Kings or EU IV. Getting back into my computer gaming flow.
Also, will get in some board gaming Robinson Crusoe and maybe Darkest Night. Who know in the end.

Diablo 3 (with the new v2.0 patch) and Wasteland 2 will see most of my attention this weekend. I'll also be continuing a Command MP game I'm involved in. I've got Baloogans badgers gearing down on my Carrier and Surface groups. With any luck some of my allies fighters along with my Tomcats can break up the raid before they launch missiles. Distant Worlds or EUIV are possibilities as well.
I still have Breaking the Chains still set up, but as of yet un-played, on my table.

I've been tempted to bust out
Darkest Night again. While there aren't many decisions to be made regarding movement on the board, there are plenty to be made regarding everything else. My first game ended in defeat and my second game was a bit of a squeaker win, and that only because I ended up with a couple characters having a pair of very complimentary skills. Tough decisions to be made even then (and one other died near the end!).
As for computer gaming, I've been bouncing around a bit.
CK2 and
EU4 are tempting but I may do some
Dominions 4 before getting serious with one of those. The new DLC for
Shadowrun is out but I've been putting it off until the inevitable update(s).
I still do a little
FOF7 GM'ing and
Wings Over Flanders Fields for flying. Been thinking of firing up
Strike Fighters 2: Israel/Europe/Vietnam again soon for some older aircraft but I'd like to install a nice ground gfx mod for it (the weakest part of the sim).
That's quite a list.. and only the tip.
I will be trying to finish my CMFI Troina battle and my DC-WtP campaign and will not be rioting anywhere this weekend. However I may go outside, have a drink and then throw the ice cubes at the cat if I feel the rage. 8)

I plan to finish the Empire Total War tutorial campaign and fire up Commander: The Great War to see how the new patch has changed gameplay.
Training at work will take away game time, but I at least will Fire up my CMBN PBEM games and play some BF4 with my friends.
But Rome 2, SotS 2 and some Twilight Imperium 3 (boardgame) are possibilities for this weekend!
Am continuing my
Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes kick. Probably some
Rome II (Athens) and possibly

I was going to fiddle with the new Stuka in IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad but I've been fighting with the updater all afternoon. Finally got it sorted only to learn that the latest update killed FFB joysticks. It's really hard to fly level when there's zero return tension in the stick. Guess I'll hold off until next week and just screw around with Eschalon: Book 1 and Sniper Elite v2: Nazi Zombie Army 2. I bought it because the Steam blurb said you could win a copy of Sniper Elite 3 if you played Zombie Army 2 in March. I didn't read deeply enough to find out you had to make videos for YouTube in order to win. Guess I'm out of the running.

Dabbling in Warhammer 40k: Storm of Something or other (Vengeance), on Steam, casual lane defense game. Its a lot better than I expected.
Want to give Piercing Fortress Europa a bit more of a bash, plus can't keep my hands off Earth Defense Force 2025 on the PS3. Shooting Alien dropships laying carpets of Giant Ants for the win! :)

I played my first patrol in Silent Hunter 4. Managed to get 39000 tons in an S boat. Not great, but since it's my first time playing, not too bad either. I'm playing the 1942 campaign out of Brisbane.

I really like Silent Hunter 5. It's my go to slow pace simulation game. Well ok. It's the only simulation game I play.
I've been digging through the games I've purchased on Steam but haven't spent any time on. Last week was Hearts of Iron 3, this week is Warlock. I'm really digging the Civilization meets D&D atmosphere. I'm not sure what'll be next.

Nope. Feels like something got jammed in the gears or the Pot centering is shot in the joystick. I tried pulling it apart to take a look but they've designed the housing in such a way that I can't simply take it apart to access the working bits. I'll have to physically cut it apart to get at it. Maybe next week. Having the throttle and pedal connections go through the joystick to save on USB slots might be convenient, but it means if the stick goes, the whole unit is useless.
Pump went because of a hairline crack, not power. Dunno why the memory went but at least that has a lifetime warranty. I've submitted the RMA request through Corsair. Now to see if they honour it.

I recently had a big damn possum take up residence under the hood of my pickup. It ate through every goddamn wire in it within two days time! Some it even gnawed all the way to the end. I won't mention how much it cost me to replace all the stinking wiring in the thing, but a few days later when I got back the little fucker returned and commenced to doing it again.
Needless to say that bastard is worm food now. It's still infuriating when you get Murphy'd hard.
Yup. Been a bloody irritating month what with PC issues, Fitbit recalls and rashes, and the recent rifle kerfuffles. March had better be better.
On the non-possum front, so far I've played Silent Hunter 4, BMS Falcon Israel Theater, and Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2.
Not sure for the rest of the evening. All this talk about Tiller has me considering Squad Battles Dien Bien Phu. I'm kinda in an MP mood, though and crazy enough I'm thinking about some Chivalry. Too many games...

I didn't get to it last night- I played Silent Hunter 4 instead, and then watched a few episodes of Season 1 of American Horror Story.
In general, I just don't like Tiller's games. I want to like them, and there aren't many alternatives to something like his Squad Battles games. But something about the interface just chafes me. It feels very archaic to me, and they're all basically variations on the same interface. I've finally figured that out.
I might be getting crankier as I get older or something. :o

Pretty much wasted my weekend playing Neverwinter. It's not a horrible MMO, but it has a horrible micro-cash shop side to it. They freaking want you to lay down real money for just about everything. It's a decent enough time sink, but good grief enough with the cash shop already.

Those can be annoying as is but
Neverwinter took it to a whole new level of confusion. It seemed like there were eighty different currencies, pay trinkets, and wotnot that would each have it's own special use or exchange tables. The cash shop mess, alone, scared me away after a short stint. I wanna game, not spend my time trying to learn convoluted cash shop systems! The action-y gameplay wasn't too bad, however.
Yeah I like the action combat too, but you're right. The whole 10000000000000000 different kind of currency is annoying. The reality is only two matter: zen (real money) and astral crystals (in game grind for zen). I started another character and realized that it'd cost like 4000 zen to get large bags. That like $40. No way! So I just run around on my Control Wizard who I spent all the free zen I got for a pre-purchase on bags when it came out. This one really makes me nervous about what they are going to do with EQ Next. I can totally see Sony following this mirco-transaction scheme.
I wasted a lot of time playing Wasteland 2 and Diablo 3. Wasteland 2 is shaping up nicely. Its definitely a beta, but I think it has the potential to be a real gem when its finished. Diablo 3 sucked up most of my time, a good 14+ hours. The new loot system is awesome, just like it was on the console. I've had no need to look in the auction house for gear. Some of the skills have been changed, but I haven't played enough to know just how many or if any class got a complete overhaul.
Spent a few hours today with both EUIV MP with Metal Dog, and the ESO beta. Nice to play a new MMO without all the F2P crap being shoved down my throat, even if it will cost me a $15 subscription.
Oh man I forgot about the Diablo 3 patch coming out. I'll need to check out the changes for sure.

It's the 2.0 patch removing auction house and a long list of changes in preparation for the exansion.
