Here's some in game video footage of the next game to be released by Graviteam.
Still no official release date has been announced though.

Thx for sharing that looks sweet. Wonder if german infantry will have any AT success in this game? Haven't played APOS in awhile but one of my favorite things was playing at ground level for the whole battle.
Can't wait! Any news on multiplayer/co-op?

I can, maybe, understand Graviteam's reluctance to give a release date, but they are tight-lipped on this one to the point that it's getting ridiculous. Have they even given a general sense of when Mius is coming out? This year?

None.
All they said was that when they are satisfied that it is ready, they will release it.
This new game is going to be their new flag ship,so I suppose they want to make sure it is in good order before the critics take a snipe at it.
Which to me is a little surprising since it's not like Graviteam to cater much to the critics.
I think that if Mius Front does well,Graviteam may have a deal with a publisher that may invest some real cash into future productions.
Don't quote me on this though.

Their country is going through a wee spot of trouble right now and that sticking to their Gant chart might not be the top priority at the moment? With the capital controls in place in the banks right now, who knows if they even have access to operating funds?

Good point.
Stupid real world politics interfering with my gaming demands.... >:(
Looks great especially the smoke and particle effects. Hope the load on the system at all out war is manageable.
I wonder if they will have the same patching/updating system as APOS?
Just an FYI that Andrey has uploaded some armor pics for the new game: http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=11319.615 (http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=11319.615)
It's looking very nice.
Easy my favourite real time wargame series. Thankfully not a clickfest. Finally knocked Close Combat 2 of my No1 slot. If Combat Mission X2 series didn't have WEGO then this would be my go to No1 tactical wargame.
I also hope that Soviet tanks can't just mow down at close range platoons of Germans, which is my main bugbear with the series.
It's way past time for Andrey/Graviteam to give some kind of indication of when Mius Front is releasing. I don't care if it's as vague as "sometime in 2015" but for Godsake stop stringing us along with the odd screenshot every 5-6 months or so.......
I want more non-ww2 stuff.
shut your devil whore mouth. >:(
Last thing Andrey said on the subject of release was hinted at sometime next year.
APOS/Graviteam Tactics is one of the most unsung heroes out there. Tried the game and hated the interface so I shelved it for about 9 months until I gave it another go. Man, I was blown away. There are so many minute details that add to the immersion that were simply missing in other well known titles.
i.e.
Storms that blew in and increased/decreased strength
Sun rising with properly changing shadows
Flares
Illumination rounds
Surrendering troops
Throwing/repairing tracks
Secondary ammo storage explosions on burning wrecks
real trenches that once created were ever present on the campaign maps
Realistic dynamic shellholes
Burning crews (albeit maybe a little too often)
Tank riders
Tac bombers/strafing fighters
Operational layer
I cannot wait for Mius Front. Andrey isnt giving a time yet because, quite frankly, IMO he marches to his own drum. Too bad he has been burned by publishers before.
Another thing that this developer does is patch his games and loads them with new features. The updating process is very archaic though, but I heard with Steam it is finally automated.

Andrey lives in the eastern Ukraine (in Kharkiv, iirc) so being near the war zone won't help much with productivity. If he made a wego option, I'd be in heaven...
If it had a WEGO mode it would be eays my No1 tactical wargame ever..as it is I still prefer CMx2 series..still GTOS blew Close combat 2 of i's top spot in my rts wargame list..though I usually hate rts games.
WEGO would be nice, but if I could take one thing from CMx2 and inject it into GTOS, it would be modeling of infantry. Infantry combat just feels like too much of an afterthought in GTOS -- I'm hoping Mius Front will rectify this, at least somewhat.
I agree that the biggest shortcoming is the infantry aspect of the game. When I suggested to Andrey that some more commands would go a long way I.e. Crawl, dash, assault on an individual squad scale, he was not receptive at all. In broken English I gathered that he wanted and wants less tactical controll and not more. As it is now, they do perform adequate mostly, but at times their actions are merely foolish.
CMII, no thanks. Tried several and really disliked them.
From a former CM player from back in the beta demo days. Just do not care for the newer engine at all.
